I could care less about the CLEVELAND Browns.  Why is this an important topic on a Bills Board???

re why - might be a playoff opponent

re couldn't care less - If a topic doesn't interest me I simply scroll past it. That way I'm not open to sarcastic remarks.

But nothing “crazy” needs to happen…. They just need to win out and have the Ravens lose to the Rams next week…. It’s really not out of the realm of possibility. Browns are a capable team, really just depends on how Mayfield plays. He lost the Packers game all on his own.

By crazy I mean COVID related which is capable of affecting all teams.

We are football fans, and I’d LOVE to see the Brown’s as our playoff opponent as opposed to some other teams.

It was ONLY four. Can anyone think of a game where a guy threw more than four interceptions?   😋

Feels a lot like round 3 with NE is inevitable

Bengals beating the Chiefs is one of my upset specials coming up. And I'd say the Browns drop 1 of 2 to the Steelers or Bengals because divisional games do that often.

I think Bengals over Chiefs is possible but think the real surprise is that the Ravens are going to beat the Rams.

So if Chiefs Browns and Rams win this week, Browns vs Bengals is for the division?

Yes and we would be looking at the 2 seed which I would like very much as it gives us likely Miami or Pats opening weekend and maybe the other one the next weekend.

Don't see how it effects the chances at the 2 seed. We would need the Titans to lose out which wasn't a factor in what we were talking about.

I am sort of shocked, but I would

bet on the Browns to make the playoffs.

1) They have to beat the Steelers and bengals (they smoked the bengals earlier this year).

2) The Bengals lose to the chiefs. Likely.

3) The Ravens lose to the Rams. Likely.

For everything that has gone wrong for that team this year, this is pretty remarkable.

Are the Browns still making the playoffs?

I think not!

Congrats to the Bengals.

They won the off-season though. Give them their props.

they are going nowhere until they find a QB. Not sure about their coach either.

So baker needs surgery on his shoulder but has been playing (stupid since they are paying Keenum 6 mill/yr and he’s not worse) - considering they are eliminated does he play tonight?

Rosen, Mayfield, and Darnold all walk into Browns training camp summer 2022...

Every preseason since when???This most recent preseason?

And the preseason before.  NFL.com had a poll for best AFC team.  The options were KC, Baltimore...and Cleveland.  And the preseason before that.  The press has ordaned Cleveland the best AFC team each preseason since they got Mayfield.

Browns being the early favorites make about as much sense as Baker Mayfield being in 40% of all commercials that are being forced on me during game time. He's not a good QB and the Bengals are going to destroy the Browns.

Speaking of commercials being forced on you. Watching the replay of the Bills - Pats on NFLN Thursday night was anyone sick and tired of that stupid commercial where the friend says " Are you OK? You don't seem like yourself. Do you want to talk? I am here for you". They must have played that thing a billion times.

OMG…yes! If you didn’t have a mental illness prior to seeing that annoying public service ad, you did for sure after watching it twenty times in a couple of hours!

The line might be a reflection of the fact that the Bengals have clinched the division and would just be playing for seeding. Maybe there's an inkling that they'll rest guys, given how crowded the AFC field is and how difficult it is to predict any matchups.

Honestly I would expect a Browns win in that one.

1. It's a meaningless game. Bengals don't really gain anything with a win. May rest some players.

2. It will give the Browns fans juuuuuusssst enough hope to think "next season is our year" yet again.

3. This is the Cleveland "Super Bowl".

Every preseason the press annoints the Browns AFC Champions before a single game is played.  Love seeing the press with egg on their face later on. XD

Can you link a site showing the Browns were favorites to win the AFCC?
