They teach you to be conservative on that pass - just lay it up and make it easy. For some reason Allen tried to drop it on a dime

Similar to how Lamar can run the ball on a pass play when it should be a penalty because he was in the pocket ready to pass.

I agree if it interferes with a route or if he takes off downfield to block…  but Williams hit a defender 1 yard downfield and hit (attempted) 2 yards field while going forward. Pass was thrown and he was 3 yards down field. Penalty … dumb
