Joe Burrow…”Nothing to do in Cincinnati”

I lived in Cincinnati for a year and that simply isn't true...I don't understand exactly what these players mean when they say there is "nothing to do" when there are 15-20 places they could go to "party" on any given night. Florence, KY right across the river also has quite a few places.

I’ve been to Cincinnati many times and it’s a good place with plenty to do. We’ve heard it said about Buffalo many times. My question is- what are the things these people like to do that you can’t in places like Buffalo or Cincinnati? Yes it’s no Miami with beaches but what other activities are missing?

I have found it says more about the person than the city when people say there's nothing to do. Pretty much every place has similar things just with a different background.

I have no idea I've been wondering this for years. Nobody can give me an answer besides "ugh it's cold"

Don’t know about now, but in my younger days I went there and partied with the UC basketball team.  The best club in the city was literally in a mall.  0/10

I mean, Burrow is from near Cincy.  I don’t take his comments as bashing the town, versus just theorizing why his team has been lucky so far against COVID, versus other teams.  I’d ultimately say his theory is wrong though, as it’s not like a COVID-stricken team like Cleveland is in a perceived big-market cities either.

You are talking about Bourbon Street but that wasn't in the city it is In Hamilton, OH I believe. I actually DJ'd there a few times in the house room.

You clearly didn't know the places to go then...the Warehouse downtown was a great spot.

So what would they do on week 2?

I didn’t know anything, but I’m pretty sure the University of Cincinnati basketball team had a pretty good feel for where the best places to party were.  I’m equally sure that Joe Burrow knows how the city’s nightlife stacks up to other towns.

Nobody parties harder than a mix of minors and kids who just turned 21 with no money.

Its not like NYC is loaded with hot chicks, when i was there i was disappointed in the local talent. Boston and New Orleans on the other hand 😘😘

Every city has something to do. Do they have bars, restaurants and nightclubs , yep same as every other place.

I've lived in Cincinnati fora long time and I have no idea what Joe is talking about.  The nightlife is fine considering the size of the city.  Sure, it's not NY, LA or Chicago but it matches up well with similarly sized city's.

Heck, the downtown casino is pretty nice and there are a lot of music venues.  Now to be fair I'm a bit old to properly comment on the type of entertainment options appealing to the twenty something demographic. But I can't imagine it isn't on par with most NFL cities.
