Hey Levon... You made the wrong choice

I don’t disagree with what you said - I just wouldn’t personally sign him.

I totally agree that he will most likely have to take a minimum/low salary to rehabilitate himself.

I am just not sure he cares enough about football to do that well.

I wouldn’t sign him either……unless he impressed with on the field work and after a sit down conversation.

I didn’t say we should sign him……I said we should take a look and see for ourselves as opposed to just going on his past.

It is very obvious that he took less money to play for KC compared to what the Bills and Dolphins offered. No one knows what Reid promised him. Could it be possible that Reid only signed him to keep the Bills or some other contender from signing him? Clearly he was promise a certain role and the coach did something completely different. As for over- rated Andy Reid, how many playoff games has this man lost with horrible coaching decisions. Yes he finally won one. But don’t you people ever compare this man to Greatest coach ever in New England. 7-1 in championships. Go back and watch Reid coaching decisions couple years ago in the playoffs against the Colts and Titans... just awful. I believe Bell and if the Bills are smart they bring him in just as they intended last year.

7 and 1? Can’t tell if you’re talking AFC championships or Super Bowls but those numbers aren’t right in either case.

Bell may well still have some talent left but if you think he’s gonna pop up here or elsewhere and get back to his dominant Steeler years that’s not happening.

Bell was headed for the Hall of Fame, then he decided to sign with the Jets.  His own fault.

I hate when players piss their careers away, solely for money.  The idea should be to get paid whilst enhancing your prospects.  At the very least, a lateral move.

Can his ego take the OP mangling his name? 🤔

We are all just talking about Bell, but it is obvious we are all talking about the wrong ex-Steeler.  The OP was talking about Levon Kirkland the former LB and he made the wrong choice to retire years ago.

If he was talking about Bell and mangled his name - he would of come back and corrected the title - a simple fix that would have moved the thread along, but leaving it as Levon - me must be talking about someone else.

🤦‍♂️

Kirkland certainly exhibited a business savvy in his post NFL career by bringing all those second tier products to Costco.  Le'Veon Bell should have been considering life after football. 🤔

Seems like a respectable young woman.  At least her kid is wrapped up in Dior.

Did he call her a "dirty alley girl"?  A "BUM" (5 times)?  A "waste of life"? "Dumb, dirty n broke"?  "Worthless"?

No?

Levon needs to step up his game.  There is a man who may be able to help--a well known "mentor" of RBs who's not busy right now!

What a ass hat the dude basically calls one of the most respected coaches in the league a liar while he's looking for a job man him & AB were made for each other but just like AB you know some one will give him a shot and he still won't be happy they need to just need to leave these kinds of players to the curb .

Seriously. Dissing Andy Reid will not win you any friends or sympathy.

Interesting way of making baby.   I hope his hands are still good and he did not drop the baby.

This man should be a Bill right now.. it’s no secret the Bills were extremely interested in signing him but he choose the easy road for a championship. He is better than every back we have right now. He needs carries and reps. His pass protection/blocking has always been excellent. He runs route like a receiver. The only question is his health and the fact that he sign to play with the JETS and Adam Gase. He is perfect for this scheme. Bring this man in and let him compete to be that Number 1 and only lead back. We need a back that can make the defense respect our running game . Two third round pick and a wash up Brieda is not going to get it done. Please Ring the Bell Mr. Beane

There’s a reason why NYJ got rid of him, why he couldn’t get on the field in KC, and why he’s currently a FA going into July.  Since leaving Pittsburgh he has yet to rush for over 100 yards in any game.

I really think he’s a few steps too slow from what he used to be and that he greatly benefited from the offensive system/OL in Pittsburgh.  The year away for football at the peak of his career probably hurt a bit as well.

On paper it would like signing him would be a huge move based into he back that he was, but I’m hardly convinced that he’s better than Moss or Singletary in their 3rd and 2nd years respectively.  I’m actually not convinced he would be the best RB on ANY roster in the NFL.  In the end, the Bills may have gotten lucky by not signing him

Bell was a good runner whose strength was his vision and patience, he was never some dynamic gamechanger who could play behind any line. When he was playing well, a large part of his big plays could be attributed to the o-line that was opening huge holes for him. I said this the first time he was running around looking for a huge FA contract. His play behind a subpar line with the jets confirmed this. He wasn't fast enough to be able to afford to lose a step, well he's lost one now and I doubt he starts again in this league.

Think if Le'Veon could time travel back to the spring/summer of 2018 he would accept the Steelers offer?

Starts @ about 6min.

How the mighty(just ask him)have fallen.

He doesn’t seem real bright - so probably not.

If he thought he was underutilized on the Chiefs active roster - on the PS should have him really complaining shortly.

Said this many times before, Levon, Leon, Le'Veon, whatever was just worried about that big payday. The Jets gave it to him and now he just plays football because he can. He might not even make it onto the Ravens active roster this year. And if he does, I don't expect much.

Looking forward to him complaining in the press about Lamar getting carries instead of him.  Glad we avoided this particular type of cancer
