WideNine Posted November 8, 2020 Share Posted November 8, 2020 Against one of the best offenses in the league, our team pretty beaten up all over the roster. The offense did not misfire on that many drives, defense got turnovers and hit Wilson repeatedly. Allen got hit a lot and took sacks, but was standing tall and protected the ball very well and did nothing to hurt this team. Special Teams got the game going with a great return and played pretty solid throughout. Proper team win, with plenty of highlights. Credit to the coaching staffs too - adjustments were made to counter adjustments and resulted in some impressive gains/stops. Malazan Posted November 8, 2020 Share Posted November 8, 2020 Brilliant gameplan for the defense (despite giving up an arseload of points). They knew they had guys like Klein who could be abused and put them in positions to succeed. The Bills defense came up big no way around it. The first drive was a 3 and out when the Bills went up 7. The second drive was an INT when the Bills were up 14. Seattle cuts the lead to 14 going into the second half with the ball and the defense starts out getting a turnover which puts the game back up 17. The defense does bend a bit in the rest of the third but does hold Seattle to a field goal when the game was only a 10 point game. The defense then follows up the offense putting the team back up 14 with a huge turnover and that was punched in for 7 and was the ball game. It was a big statement and confidence boost for the defense.
