Greg S
Hoping it can make it. The virus killed it last spring. I would love it if we could get spring football but the quality of play needs to improve. There were some awful games when it was on.

I guess with the league dismantled and all the contracts torn up you aren't really getting much outside of the brand. I'm curious what it actually entails. Kickoffs became somewhat exciting again. Punts were just... different. 3 point conversions. Double forward pass (you didnt have to worry about being behind the QB and it being a fumble - you just needed to be behind LOS). OT was kinda neat - albeit gimmicky. I kinda prefer college OT as its a bit more... football.

Kurt Warner won’t have been Warner if he didn’t get to play in the arena league or NFL Europe. people love saying players are busts but some of these guys just need a chance to play.

But, I hope, and suspect that Johnson might be better positioned to make the XFL successful, at least in terms of branding. 7 minutes ago, PromoTheRobot said: Good for Dwayne. The NFL will never sanction an official development league ever again because of the potential liability. They won't stop any independent league, especially a spring league, that doesn't affect them. And to be clear, The Rock is just part owner. Edited August 3, 2020 by PromoTheRobot

Bring it
I think he should have just split the 15 million up and given it to the underprivileged! How dare he make this capitalist move by buying something at rock bottom value and attempting to increase it thru intelligence, creativity and hard work!!!? Obviously sarcasm here. TroutDog
I agree. McMahon is so polarizing that Johnson may be pragmatic enough to pull this off. If nothing else it will be interesting as it has been through v1 and v2. ?
