Ball at the 10 yard line, you don’t turn the ballon we their offense can’t beat you. It’s totally the right call.

Agreed. As much as I'd love to try and score there, it isn't worth the risk. We got a gift getting that ball back to keep points off the board there. No sense giving Pitt another chance

I get a good laugh at some people on this board myself. I watch a lot of football and WRs make tough catches at all levels especially the NFL but anytime one of our WRs drops a ball people put all the blame on the QB.  3 drops so far tonight that were easy catches anywhere else in my opinion. One of them led to an INT

This is the truth! Why do some people choose to keep following the stupid narrative.

Almost two minutes with all 3 TO’s...how in the world does McD ever expect to win a game on the final try if he never gives his QB any practice?

McDermott is a panzy!!!

You don't even TRY for a FG?!?!?!

Are you kidding me?!?!

I was wrong. Allen will NEVER be league MVP because of how conservative our HC is

Remember that time they went for 4th and 6 instead of punting and ended up scoring a TD which is how they are up 7-3...I remember

There is a difference between being aggressive and reckless. That was smart play calling there to run out the half on our own 8 yard line

Are they more likely to turn it over in the last minute of the half?  Do points in the last minute of the half count extra?  If not then they should absolutely never throw it from their own 8.  Probably not until they cross the opponent 40 just to be safe.

Seriously - how dangerous would a late bomb really be there?

Since we know Allen can't hit deep passes, it's almost all downside in doing so.

INT returned for a TD, injury to a key player, turnover that sets up a FG with a deadly accurate kicker from long range...

The least likely thing to happen is Allen completing a deep pass, and especially one that leads to points.

Some of you guys should watch other offenses around the league. You'll be shocked how standard that catch is for most starting receivers. You will be amazed by some of the actually unbelievable catches that are made in every game every week.

Very fair point. No name guys making clutch catches on every team. We chose small guys because of the speed but we are not using it. These guys are not built to take big shots over the middle because they’ll be murdered by a safety and they know it, or go over a defender at the sideline. This should be a screen team lol but we know that ain’t happening

Beasley is a #3 WR

Brown is a #2 WR

Knox shouldn't even be starting at TE, should be a depth guy.

Mckenzie and Roberts aren't NFL WR's. they can hardley run a route tree and we have them starting at the 3/4 WR spots every week.

Beane really didn't give Allen much help this season

Question to those defending the clock run out.

Are you just just saying that because you have to defend anything the Bills do? Or do you think it’s smart to waste possessions?

we could have used one more possession last week.

No. Because it’s a close game. If we throw the ball and go three and out there’s a decent chance Pittsburgh could come away with a FG making it a 1 point game

I really could see both sides.  The defense is playing well.  If McDerm thinks the defense can stop the Steelers consistently he won't risk taking chances.  I want to see more two minute drives at the end of the half but I understand why they don't.

They’re trying to make the playoffs for 53 guys, it’s not about Allen getting practice.

I think we should have tried to press down field. We had enough time and time outs.

I don't like this conservative crap at all. I get this is a D sluggfest and all but a FG can and most likely will decide this game at this rate.

That was a bad pass that was too high to a wide open receiver with no pressure. He has to hit that. I also see “drops” like that in pretty much every game every week. Outside of that, Allen is playing ok. Not horrible.
