Where does Brady play after this season?

Recommended Posts

If they win the SB this year, he retires.  He wants desperately to go to 4 straight and win a few of them to put another dagger into the Bills fandom.

IF he plays next year, he’ll be a patsy.  Won’t be with the Niners, no way they bench Jimmy G. For him.  If he somehow does end up with another team it would need to be a team that needs nothing, only a QB.  He’s not going to go somewhere if it’s a 2 year project.  Honestly don’t believe that happens, he’s not a happy camper with the team he has now especially the WR’s that are not playing up to his expectations.

All that being said, if he departs against his will, he will end up somewhere just to show Billy B. and company he can do it.  Hope that happens and he ends up flat on his face....

Chargers.  Gisselle, loves southern Cal, Marcia loves Hollywood, Guerrero is in southern cal, RIvers is done, Chargers are loaded on D and offense.  Brady is UFA after this season, and will get ridiculous offers.   Brady will be a Charger

He is still a decent QB, but its clear time has finally caught up to him and his avocado ice cream. What is most shocking to me was how little NE did to give him weapons this year. Obviously AB didn't work out, but how could you go into the season with Jacobi Myers and Gunner Oslenski as wide receiver options?

They had josh Gordon & still have Edelmann. No replacement for Gronk has certainly hurt them.

Brady is playing in NE or nowhere.   It's silly to talk about him going anyplace else.

Brady understands better than anyone that his success is based in large measure on the coaches he plays for and the system he plays in.   He understands how to attack defenses and he understands every nuance of the system he plays in.   He has an answer for everything.   If he were to go to a new team, he would leave behind the huge advantage he currently has.  Brees has it with Payton, too.   Brady knows that if he's on the field for a different team, with different coaches and in a different system, he may see the defenses the same, but he will have to respond to what he sees in new terminology and without all of the tools he has in NE.

I think we are watching the end of Tom Brady, the final chapters of an amazing run.  I hope the Bills can help push him out the door in two weeks.

I think playing to 45 is unrealistic.  He retires.  Why on earth would he want to tarnish his image trying to stay 1-2 seasons longer?  Montana w/ KC, Favre w/ Jets, Thurman w/ Dolphins and so many other examples.

Well montana did nearly take kc to the super bowl before they ran into us

He literally has no other reason to play. He has the legacy. He has money. He has every record in the book. What's there to chase? When his time with New England is over, I honestly don't think we hear from him again until his HOF induction. I don't see him getting into broadcasting or coaching.

Brett Favre came out of retirement because the dude legit loved playing football. I honestly don't think Brady has that kind of love for the game.

Brady*** can only play for the pats***.

TB12 would need too be moved. Way to much risk for felony drug arrests

He pees sitting down. Kraft has made every player sign a NDA regarding this. For 20 years and running.

He gets bent out of shape. Even on the road when someone doesn't put the toliet seat down.

I could go on the story's are true and legendary. eff him!

Agreed ... He'll be Tyrod's backup.

I'm not saying he doesn't play with grit, and passion. Or that he doesn't enjoy playing. But watch guys like Peyton and Favre. You could tell that they were genuinley having fun out there their entire career. I just don't get that vibe when I watch Brady play.

i get what you are saying and agree.

but Montana was still pretty good with KC and took them to playoffs and AFC Championship game. Don't dissect his stats too much as that was not the prolific passing time in NFL just yet.

I vote for euchre at the local nursing home.

On a serious note, he is looking like he may be done, a piece of burnt toast.  I know he'll blame it on the lack of skill talent around him.  Edelman is the only dependable receiver he's got any more - with all due respect to N'Keal Harry fans out there.  There's some truth to that I suppose, but I think he has lost to Father Time is some significant areas: making quick decisive reads, arm strength and overall athleticism.
