Aussie Joe
Hey … let’s get a thread going on this one early as it it pretty important game for us.. First thing I’m interested in … Anyone got any insight as to the travel over there given we were told that the Bills were observing the latest in “sports science “ getting over there 48hrs before the game ..

BRH
Both teams are flying over this week, as opposed to when Jacksonville was sitting there waiting for us. That’ll make a difference. Also, ***** Miami. I hope the Chiefs win a long, nasty war of attrition and both teams somehow get stuck in Munich for days afterward. 4

SCBills
Was driving during the late games yesterday and NFL Radio “The Sunday Drive” hosts were absolutely crushing the NFL for the Bills and Chiefs losing a home game overseas that could come into play with playoff seeding. 2
Gregg
I am glad the Chiefs lost yesterday and not just for the obvious reason. They are pissed off and Mahomes who had a rare bad game is also pissed. The Dolphins are frauds as they can only beat cupcakes. No cupcake on the schedule this week. Only a pissed off defending Super Bowl champ. Chiefs win by at least two scores.

Best chance to make the playoffs is to win the division; we need the Fins to lose several so week 18 is a day off. 4

Funny how the national media didn't notice the London game was a lost home game for us until the Chiefs were also impacted. 4 minutes ago, Dan said: @BRH is correct. Also, an easy way to discern the age of a poster is whether they're rooting against the Chiefs or the Fins next week. It's not foolproof, but I bet most people over 50 (like me) still hate Miami so much that we could never root for them except when their winning would guarantee us a playoff spot or seeding. And even then it would be difficult. 3 3

zow2
I’d prefer Miami to lose and I’m glad the Chiefs are coming in off a lackluster and sloppy loss. KC will be dialed in for this despite Miami getting fortunate and not having to play at Arrowhead.

Nah, I’d rather play in KC than in Miami. we smashed them this season in Buffalo, but that was with Tre-Milano and Daquan. We don’t know if they’ll be back. most importantly is how the Miami offense functions while having the advantage of a quiet stadium. Their motions require great coordination and not being able to hear the snap count (or anything other than the opposing crowd) really dampens their offense. They aren’t as creative nor are they as effective. I believe one of the reasons we won that game was due to our fans being so loud. It was THE reason, not even close…..but it did hamper the Miami O. I believe that
DapperCam
If you’re only focused on winning the division, then a Dolphins loss is what you want. If you are holding out hope for the #1 seed, then you want the team to lose that you think will have the better record the rest of the season (in my opinion Chiefs). Big Turk
Dolphins are not very good against quality teams who are fundamentally sound. They rely on teams not being in position a lot, which is bad coaching and having undisciplined players on D far too much, IMO. The only potential saving grace for the Fins is overseas travel. It effects everyone differently and there is no way to know how it will effect individual players until you play the game.

Chaos
4 hours ago, BRH said: Funny how the national media didn't notice the London game was a lost home game for us until the Chiefs were also impacted. The NFL could have done its two weeks in London experiment in a much more fair way. They could have two division rivals go to London and play back to back games, so that each of the teams lost a home and an away game. And simply evaluated the quality of play for the second week vs the first week (errors, GPS measured speed of players, etc.) to see what the impact of spending more time in the distant London time zone was. By controlling have the same teams in both games, they remove a considerable number of variables, allowing them to measure the impact of the time zone difference potentially more accurately.
