Week 4, Fish v. Bills - Predict the Score

I'll start out the thread.

Big early game vs a division rival who are undefeated. The Bills loss to the Jets could come back to haunt the them.

Now on to the game. Miami is probably the best offense in the league right now. They are running on a different level. Their overall speed is unmatched. McDaniels knows how to exploit defenses. All it takes is seconds and a missed tackle. With that said, I don't think this Bills defense can contain and stop the Miami offensive juggernauts. Hill is a know Bill killer. Mosert gashed the Bills last year and now add in a track like RB named Anchane. Waddle is back as well. Too many weapons for the Bills defense to defend. Too much speed for the Bills to overcome. The dolphins will score at least 30 points here.

On to the Bills offense. The Dolphins defense is improved under Fangio. Nevertheless, the Bills should be able to move the ball on Miami. A key will be how effective are they in the red zone. Allen needs to be elite. No big mistakes. I think this is a game where the Bills can throw deep and make longer passes and chunk plays. Diggs will have a big game as well as Cook. Allen has been successful playing Fangio defenses. I believe in the Bills offense. Dorsey must be creative.

I have this game as a coin flip.

Bills 34. Miami 31

Last week I was 12 of 16, which is the 2nd time this season I've got that many right. Wonder if I can do better this week.

As I always say, these were all done before the season in order to get my playoff seeding predictions.

Packers

Jags

Rams

Ravens

Vikings

Bengals

Saints

Dolphins (22-38)

Broncos

Steelers

Eagles

Chargers

9ers

Cowboys

Chiefs

1 minute ago, HOUSE said:

Floyd will crunch Tua

BILLS 28

GOLDFISH 17

I think that's unlikely because Tua gets rid of the ball so quickly.

80% of Tua's throws are to his first read. That's crazy high and shows the Miami schemes are working.

The Bills defense needs to try to confuse Tua and take away his first read. That's when he will make mistakes, Bills players can deflect ball, and create turnovers. Easier said than done.

One thing perhaps getting overlooked is the running game for both teams. Mosert and Achane can take it to the house at any moment. The Bills already gave up a huge run this year. Brian Robinson was running well until they got too far behind.

Cook should be able to find holes in that Miami defense. The Oline should be able to create some holes. I feel Cook is really close to breaking a big one.

The run game will only make each passing game that much more effective.

Question: Which Bills offensive players step up besides Diggs?

Could this be our first actual regular season defeat in a very long time where we just get flat out beat and it wasn't because of some weird fluke?

Dolphins 31

Bills 27

I'm 3-0 on the season with my picks by the way. This should hopefully be a close one

48-20 Bills.  Josh Allen is the Dolphins daddy, and our D is unlike anything they have faced so far. They are also coming in arrogant as hell.

Rewatched the Fins/Pats game. NE did a decent job of keeping the pass plays in front of them. Miami can be slowed down, however, I do think Bills give up a long TD run again.

Bills offense gets on track

Bills 35

Dolphins 30

Exactly, but our Defense is much better than NE. Just use the same philosophy, but with better athletes and its a slaughter.

Dolphins 73

Bills 20

Dolphins saved the record breaking score for the Bills and the defense gets made a fool of.  Bills defense can't get to Tua faster than his 2 second release time, and the Bills miss tackles all over the field.  Many fans get their wish when Elam gets the nod, only to see him get burned time and time again, leading to frustration and illegal contact penalties.  Down 21-0 early, Josh has to go into hero mode and the interceptions return.  Dorsey throws out the game plan early and Cook ends with only 7 touches

Congratulations again to last week's winner @Nelius!  This week, the Fish Flying Circus comes to the Ralph, and I can't wait for this game!  All week I've been hearing 70 points, historic win, blahblahblah.  No one has mentioned the stat I'm gonna lay on you now.  For the third week in a row, the Bills will play a team that destroyed the Broncos the week before.  First the Rayduhs, then the WTFs,  and this week the Fish.  Tua has not seen a defense like ours yet, and the newly balanced Bills offense is going to abuuuse the Fish defense.  Tua may not finish the game.  This one will get ugly quickly, but McD doesn't run it up unnecessarily:

Fish - 13

Beews - 48

Past Winners

Week 1 - @JaCrispy

Week 2 - @Gary Marangi

Week 3 - @Nelius
