Kim and Terry saved Major League Sports in Buffalo. Forever grateful to them. They made a few mis-hires along the way with both franchises but we all learned with them. The biggest lessons are: The Coach and GM relationship is key Flashy egos may not be the best fit for your franchise leaders--hard workers who know how to build relationships are.. Hire folks you have faith in on the player personnel and coaching side, give them resources and let them be Both franchises are long-haul contenders and the Bills and the Sabres are desirable destinations for players.
