No excuses for how bad we’re playing, but already Knox and Bates dinged up. Basically playing on concrete. Just trash conditions. For reference it’s 10 degrees warmer and half the wind in NE. Frazier’s scheme relies on execution, we need top talent and no mistakes to perform well. On offense… well Dorsey is a year one play caller whose offense is top 3-5 by most metrics. But it doesn’t pass the eye test as far as looking elite. He’s got to make a big jump otherwise he’ll be holding Allen back for at least another year. Perhaps our ST coach needs to put two guys back one deep one a bit shallower. Perhaps if we field some short ones and get good field position that stops.
