Einstein
Callers mentioned this topic on Sal Cappaccio’s show today, and Sal then asked Diggs about it during media availability. I didn’t even notice it, but apparently Diggs threw his helmet at some point when he wasn’t getting the ball. And apparently at some other point of the game, he turned around and said “get me the ball!”. I didn’t see either situation. Are people making a mountain of a molehill, or is there something to this? CaliBills
the dude is irritated that we sputter in games and he knows he is the best option for Josh. I agree, get him the ball. Design plays, rub routes, fades (where have they gone, back shoulder throws as well) to get him the ball. 9 6

LOVEMESOMEBILLS
He wants to win first and foremost. But if we're losing or in a close game or if the offense has been sputtering, he wants the ball. He's said it before, "That's why you paid me". If we're rolling and he's not getting targets because of double coverage, he doesn't care on the least. He just wants to win. GO BILLS!! 2 2
StHustle
Same as when he was a Viking. He just wants to win. He only gets upset when we are struggling on offense and he isn’t getting targeted. I wouldn’t call that a Diva. 1 3
Comebackkid
I was thinking about this last night. if I had to venture a guess I'd say he's getting tired of Dorseys play calling. doesn't make him a Diva,. just an irritated dude. 2 1

White Linen
Heck no! Did you see that game plan by Dorsey? He's right and it's quite ridiculous for him not to be involved for those stretches. Most OC's design calls to ensure the playmakers get the ball, ours doesn't. The guy seems like the best teammate you could possibly ask for. He's certainly awesome before and after games with the fans too.

You can see the frustration mount as the game goes on. Edited December 22, 2022 by LOVEMESOMEBILLS

Since1981
Cleveland. Diggs to McDermott on sideline late 1H. Then made the best plays of the game. need to put more 50/50 balls his way. Josh owns the ball and runs, jumps, fly when he’s similarly frustrated. Whereas Diggs is kinda stuck.

Snappysnackcakes
He’s not a diva, but he’s an “ALPHA” which has me concerned. If he were to start acting like that serial blowtorcher in Miami, I’d have to call him out. Everyone involved can prevent that from happening by giving him the damn ball whenever he wants it. Diggie, don’t get your finger dirty.

AlfaBill
If you listened to the miked up with Knox there’s some chatter that may suggest that. I personally don’t think so however you can see he is a passionate player who wants to win and us happy when the team wins as evidenced by the snow slide with his teamsters. I also think he gets upset when no one else steps up and the offense goes into lulls and he wants the ball not for ego but to will the team to victory. Only Jefferson, Hill and Adam's get more targets. Diggs averages over 10 a game and is on pace for a career high in targets. Our offense will be at its best when it spreads the ball around to everyone, like Saturday night. 9 different receivers, each with at least 1 catch in the 1st half. Get Gilliam and Shakir involved a little and you can easily bump that to 11.

LABILLBACKER
No way. He's just a passionate and competitive star who saw his team struggle in the 3rd quarter. Diggs is far more lethal with the ball and his targets are usually at a higher degree of difficulty than McKenzie, but their catch rate is very similar. I was surprised by that. Diggs 99/142 - 69.7%, McKenzie 40/60 - 66.7%. Knox leads the primary receivers at 74.1%.
