Bills release new stadium renderings

Are we just gonna ignore the fact that the video board shows the bills celebrating in the ez in white jerseys when they are at the 20 in blue jerseys on the field?

And the scoreboard shows them beating the Jets when they are clearly playing the Patriots?

So the fake video recording paying on the fake Video board is from a different fake game than the fake game on the field?

Damn....well I guess the pressure Tennessee put on them by releasing their renderings kicked them into gear!

No, it was because @The Wiz and I constant reminders that they needed to get them out.

When the times comes the Bills will probably do tours with season ticket holders with the most seniority going first. They will get first choice on where they want their new location to be in the stadium. Trying to move thousands of season ticket holders from the current stadium to the new one will take time. That is what the Giants and Jets did when it came time to go from Giants Stadium to MetLife.

I know they said there would be virtual tours, I'd rather do it in person.  My seats I have currently have extra legroom that does not show up on any seating chart or rendering.  Only being in my section/row, do you see it.

So, you live in a world where nothing changes? Or did Raccuia wake up one day and say, "I'm bored. I'm just gonna make ***** up today and make people mad."?

So it took 2-3 months more to release TWO cookie cutter pics.  Maybe the computer that the renderings were on died, and they couldn’t get a replacement?😂

Yeah, I’m fine with our new stadium, and don’t want to be “negative”. I just wish it looked less like a European soccer stadium. Hoping they add at least one unique feature. It seems like a copy and paste design.

Well all stadiums seem to have a "window" now, started by Lucas Oil Stadium maybe.

The Tennessee Stadium blows this proposed stadium out of the water, the deck idea with greenery and chairs is outstanding.

Engineer the stadium for maximum noise like Seattle.

Yes, the idea that the rest of the world is both and lying and incompetent is the much better take.

Only time will tell how many seats are protected from the elements.  We will see if the number increases, decreases or stays the same.  65% is a pretty damn big canopy.

Look. it will be nice to have a new stadium with modern infrastructure and amenities.  No complaints. Let's go.

But if i want to nitpick, it's a missed opportunity....25 years from now people will still lament that the stadium is sitting in the middle of nowhere when it should be downtown,, and they should have spent the extra $ to put a retractable roof on the thing.  Even one of the two would have made this spectacular.

They did us the favor of leaving something for everyone to quibble over in another 25 years when we look at the NEXT Bills stadium.

As I’ve said all along, if it’s in WNY, I’m good.

I know the Giants and Jets did them in person. Fans are going to want to see the stadium in person especially if they are going to be spending a lot of money on seats. Virtual tours are nice, but it can't replace seeing it live.

Between the canopy (even if it only covers +/- 60% of the seats), the stacked seat design, the "extensive radiant heating" that will be used, the "wind confusion wrap" (whatever the fook that is), and the rotation of the stadium's orientation to be less affected by wind....

I have a feeling fans will be much more comfortable in the new stadium. It'll be the best of both worlds, with more warmth and cover on gamedays, but also maintaining the outdoor football atmosphere that a stadium in Buffalo should have.

Then again, I'm a hopeless optimist....

Doesn't seem like anything special, but nothing bad about it.

The "velarium" is a nice touch.

I like how it is enclosed and the entire stadium provides a secure little world around the field.

"Open" stadiums where you can see out of them in places suck.

You can’t have people in the stadium while construction is going on, and it is going to take a good amount of time to get all STH relocated, and then have time to sell the rest. It is interesting that they were able to do this at NYJ/NYG stadium.  I guess it all depends on the construction timeline.

Looks just like the Tottenham Stadium... and I couldn't be more pleased.

It definitely does not and that's the problem. This rendering does not look as nice and the roof covers much less. I would have been excited if they just up and copied that stadium but this looks like they said we can't afford that give us something much cheaper

they have hired people who have done this before. We should assume that professional architects are going to get this right before believing a rendering.

Absolutely.  But to quote Seinfeld: "People, they're the worst."

Bills fans in 2013: "We're gonna lose the team! Bon Jovi and Ted Rogers are gonna buy it and move it to Toronto! The end is nigh! I am in a glass case of emotion!!!!"

Bills fans in 2022: "I dunno, I mean it looks OKAY, but shouldn't the buffalo statues be bigger? And where's the party deck?"

I like the big entry walk ways they look very open  and works well with the open area in front of the stadium - hopefully they have check points before those open areas to improve the speed to get in

Cover looks small but compared to other completed stadiums I think that will change

I like the concept but obviously this is not very detailed

I'm comparing this rendering to that rendering. Roof was said to cover 80% now it's 65%, you can tell that's where they cheaped out

In the left side of that too drawing you could say the awning covers parts of the 100 level. Right side looks whack. Probably just a bad drawing like a lot have been saying. But again bad drawing is going to get criticism after making people wait several months.

They did the survey. Most wanted to keep the tailgating experience and keep good sightlines. It looks like this rendering did both. Plus we have no idea how accurate these are. Its a new stadium thats keeps the team in Buffalo.

This gets lost in the wash, I think.

How quick people are to forget just how amazing it is that the team is getting a new stadium and STAYING IN BUFFALO to begin with!

Are we talking retractable canopies? Is that even a thing? As shown, it doesn’t look like it would cover 65% of the seats.

If that’s the stadium, which apparently it is, then that’s a whole lot of meh from me. Then again, I’m someone who wanted a dome.

If the inspiration was Tottenham’s stadium then I think they managed to make one that looks worse.

Hey, if a retractable canopy was enough for the Roman Coliseum, I see no reason why it wouldn’t be for our stadium.
