I remember when....

I remember when our quarterback didn't know how to throw guys open or would check down all game long....

I remember when our offensive line couldn't protect our QB for more than 2 seconds....

I remember when we were trying to find a burner so we could take a deep shot maybe once a game...

I remember when we couldn't get pressure with our front 4...

I remember when big named FA's didn't want to come to Buffalo....

I remember when we looked ahead at our schedule and hoped to get over .500...

I remember when no one picked us to win anything...

I remember when the Wild Card was our wildest dream...

I remember looking at other team's quarterbacks and hoping for a fraction of their production...

I remember when the Division was a pipe dream...

I remember when we drafted in the top 10 and hoped that half of our picks would pan out...

I remember when our Punter was our best player...

I remember when we couldn't get a Prime Time game...

I remember when no one picked us to win...

I remember when Billy Joe Hobert played quarterback for us and didn't know the playbook...

I remember when we couldn't hold onto a coach for more than 3 years...

I remember when we started 5-2 multiple times and didn't make the playoffs...

I remember when 7-9 was our defining point for a good season...

I remember when I hoped my team would win rather than expect them to win.

I remember when we never drafted a guy that they signed to a second contract

I remember when winning the championship was about as likely as winning Lotto

I remember when we had a lot of terrible QB's

And every single frigging reason that the OP mentioned in this thread is why we should be enjoying what we have right now to the absolute fullest

Stop nitpicking and complaining about every little thing that could or does go wrong in a game

Get out to the stadium to see the team play (if you can)

This season could be special and it's finally ours

Watching the bills these last 3 seasons, I really have no idea how we lived through the drought. I mean, I think we kinda lived off of always getting a new coach/qb and just hoping they were the ones. There were no doubt exciting moments in those years, but man there was SO MUCH garbage in those years. So thankful for this current bills team

I remember being the only team in NFL history to lose the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft to the CFL.

I remember being the team that lost the highest drafted player to the USFL after that league started in 1983.

I remember being the league's laughingstock at some point in every decade except the 1990s and 2020s.

I remember coaches quitting without other jobs lined up rather than continue coaching the Bills.

I remember a coach quitting in preseason.

I remember Harvey Johnson being forced to coach the Bills against his will.

I remember a player retiring at halftime.

I remember 60,000 empty seats at Bills home games.

I remember 4/26/2018 when the Bills drafted the player who would turn the team into a contender and half this board losing their minds because we didn't draft Josh Rosen, all because of the cumulative effect of so many other bad choices.

I mean, we had a spirited debate for over a year about whether JP Losman or Trent Edwards should start.  We were stoked when we signed Kyle Orton.

All good remembrances, OP.  We paid our dues.

I remember Kyle Orton retiring after the season ended & Doug Marrone looking at his QB depth chart without Orton & saying sayonara.

All those are fun, but let's do some remembering from last Saturday back a couple of months.

I'll start.

Remember when the rookie Steeler's QB was going to "Jacksonville" the Bills?

Remember when the Bills 1st round CB was a bust?

The Pittsburgh game was what inspired these thoughts for me.  Those deep throws were amazing.

Also, while not a bust, he got smoked a lot in that game

I remember when our qb tripped on a carpet at training camp and got hurt.

I remember when at training camp a qb throwing the ball and it hit the coutesy tent above my head.  And the gentleman standing next to me said well he is getting close to hitting those out routes. We all ahd a laugh.

I remember when your stud rookie lb blows out his knee at training camp.

I remember when fregee through an int in the playoffs against Cincinnati.

I remember when oj gloves did not fit

Well ok I forgot.
