BPA @ WR, OL, CB or DL

If we draft a corner, I just hope he has some wheels.

one of the new draft prediction sites (CFN?) has the Bills taking CB Kaiir Ela from Florida. I don't know anything about him so it will be interesting when all the prognostications come out whether there will be a consensus by player or position - I think not -they will be all over the map. For those who follow college football better than I do (and that's at least 99.999% of the population) anxious to hear your takes. if you do post them please list the position and what college they are from.

trade pick for premier pass rusher.

If drafting, BPA.  Really, this team could upgrade everywhere but QB.

Bean needs to stop targeting positions.  It failed last two years with zero impact DE's on the roster.  We need an impact player that can change the game at a meaningful time in the front 7.

Imagine that extremely fat guy playing 35-40 plays against Mahomes.    He'd keel over dead.    I'd be very leery about throwing first round money at a guy like that.   That's bad business.

Agreed. He is going to BPA in that area, should be a top ten pick but won't because he is a center. I'm 100% good on that. Can't draft for need.

A good center is huge for this team.  Morse is a hit away from being done, and may retire based on cryptic comments.  The Center is the leader of the OL, we need a good one to protect our QB and help the anemic run game.  If center is BPA, do it.

Chris Olave wr or a DB

I'd be very ok with this. Our offensive line got better when we sat Mango and gave up on Ford and plugged in Boettger/ Bates. I don't think we're drafting OL high. I think we bring in a veteran CB from FA and don't draft one. I would bet on WR or DB. I could see IOL but it would have to be someone that fell.

In order to get to Mahomes, first you have to beat other teams. Focus all your energy into beating one team and 30 others can pass you by.

Linderbaum might be the best center to come out in 20 years. Gotta pull the trigger if he is sitting there.

if he is there and we don't, I'm done with Bean, esp. if we take some "prospect" at DL, or another D position.

Trevor Penning, Offensive Tackle, Northern Iowa.

Andrew Booth, Cornerback, Clemson

Chris Olave, Wide Receiver, Ohio State

I'm good with any of those.

will those guys be there?

What do you think of Linderbaum?  (who also might not be there?)

Jameson Williams WR - Alabama

Alabama's Jameson Williams, the projected top WR in the 2022 NFL Draft, tore his ACL last night vs. Georgia, per sources. Doctors believe that, after surgery within the next 10 days, Williams will retain his sub 4.3 speed, and they expect a full recovery.

Through 15 games, he logged 79 catches for 1,572 yards and 15 touchdowns.

I think all three are touch and go. I think the ceiling for them all is early teens (though this is bad top 10 so who knows?) but could one of the three slide? Possible. Depends how much reaching for need goes on at QB. Linderbaum similar in terms of where he will go. As for him to the Bills tell me who the coordinator is and what sort of offense they want first. I think he probably fits better in a stretch zone WCO than in an E-P.

Whoever Allen wants.

I really don’t know much about QBs having input on drafting but I expect it’s not much. Allen should have some say on team needs though, and let’s be honest, we are always drafting for need over BPA.

As an example though, word is Mahomes wanted Clyde Edwards-Helaire so they took him over the likes of Jonathan Taylor and D’andre Swift.

I think a CB with top speed has to be a consideration after watching KC WRs run away from the Wallace and Jackson.

Interior OL should be a consideration also, perhaps as early as round 1, but I thought OL was OK last night.

I think run defense against good offenses is vulnerable, but it isn't what did the Bills in against KC.

A LB with speed to go with Edmunds size/speed and Milano's great play.

Given Gabe Davis' big games in the playoffs, I don't see a WR early, but would not complain.

I am in the camp that believes a really great RB is still valuable, but I don't think that replacing Singletary is imperative.  Now, if a truly great RB prospect is available and you think his skills translate to NFL, it might make sense.

Interior DL would be helpful, but last half of season I thought Harrison Phillips played well next to Ed Oliver.

Most predict him top 10-20.  If he’s there, it’s a no brainer, but I wouldn’t put my hopes on it. Very unlikely

I think it is possible if people over draft those quarterbacks like they always do. If GMs use their brains, there is no chance. If they overdraft crap quarterbacks, that will push talent down the board. But if I were a betting man, I think he goes to the Eagles with one of those three!! picks in that 10-20 range

Kaiir Elam is legit.  One of my best friends is a Florida guy, so i've seen a good bit of him.  Would be like having another "potential" Tre White on the other side of the field.  He's not a Ramsey/Diggs, more of a sticky cover guy with some length.
