The 60's Music... or Crazy Purple Things
Greybeard replied to BringMetheHeadofLeonLett's topic in Off the Wall
My DaCapo favorite. Arthur Lee had a sound in his head and it took long time for the drummer to get it right. I've posted their Glastonbury version before and it's worth going to Youtube to see. This is the original. From the "Forever Changes" album, one of the best of the unknown albums of the 60's. They were probably 3-5 years too early with their music. -
Dan Marino lists top QBs of all time; Kelly makes list

I always thought Marino's receivers had more after-catch yards. Does anyone know where they might have stats like that? -
Best of luck to you and a special thanks to whoever gave you the kidney.

Years ago, a friend had a brother who complained about pain in his knee. It turned out to be a tumor in his brain. -
Inside Jets dysfunction article in the Athletic

I know the perfect place for Hackett. The only problem is I can't figure out how to get KC to hire him. -
Sounds like you are describing Jim Kelly.

That pretty funny, some might say ironic, considering this is a Buffalo Bills Football site.

At least two posters were looking to sign up earlier in the year. I said wait till the Father's day sale. It is here now. If your really into a team, I see this year MLB is also showing minor league games. It is nice if you want to watch a certain prospect.

Almost missed this. It deserves a bump.

RIP. He certainly was a great story teller. I really like "If you could read my mind" and "Sundown." The line that really struck me from "If you could read my mind" is, "I never thought I could feel this way And I've got to say that I just don't get it I don't know where we went wrong But the feeling's gone And I just can't get it back" Love can be very fickle. It is scary in a way.

Al Kooper's attempt to merge horns and strings into rock. While this is Blood, Sweat and Tears, it is somewhat different than what they became when they had great success on popular radio, post Al Kooper. (i.e. You Made Me So Very Happy). The singer of this is the guy who sang Steve's song with the Blues Project.

Famous NFL Draft "Reaches" who went on to significant NFL Success
Greybeard replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
First name that came to mind, Bob Hayes, the Cowboy. The Dallas Cowboys selected Hayes in the seventh round (88th overall) of the 1964 NFL Draft with a future draft pick, which allowed the team to draft him before his college eligibility was over, taking a chance that the Olympic sprinter with unrefined football skills could excel as a wide receiver.[9] He was also selected by the Denver Broncos in the 14th round (105th overall) of the 1964 AFL Draft, with a future selection. The bet paid off, due to his amazing feats in cleats. Hayes has been credited by many with forcing the NFL to develop a zone defense and the bump and run to attempt to contain him. -
When I use my computer, I have no problem. When I use my Samsung Andoid tablet, it always starts at the bottom of the next page. It is a PITA but so far not so much that I have tried to search for an answer.
