Nice to receive accolades, but yeah, don’t care what LeBron says.  Actually, would rather not be associated with anything LeBron.

Completely agree. Lebron is the biggest joke in all of sports. Thanks but no thanks Lebron.

Because he’s in a small group of 3-4 names about the best basketball player of all time?

I understand that some people might not like the way he approaches the game from a attitude standpoint, but the man is absolutely incredible at the game of basketball. Just watch one of his games and anyone should come to understand why he’s the elite of the elite as far as talent and ability to take over a game at any time.
When it comes to his approval of Allen, that’s just greatness recognizing greatness.

Nah, as great as he might be as a player, he’s the polar opposite as a person and I don’t want him associated in any way with Josh who by all accounts is a great player AND person.

Approval of Allen? Well, now I can sleep tonight.

Gross

Since it's so hard to hate on a 40-0 shutout apparently.

And will bite, is it really "gross" for Josh to acknowledge a shoutout from LeBron James of all people? Josh is probably the nicest superstar athlete in the world, who would also acknowledge a tweet from some rando special teamer, but he's supposed to go silent when LeBron of all people causes a stir?  Yeah that wouldn't be insanely strange at all.

And even because of what, some extremely narrow political lean or something? Weird takes abound in here.

Wait, you think my comment was directed at Josh? You’re right about the weird takes part.

Why does everyone feel the need to express their personal beliefs every two seconds these days? I often naively click on things like this expecting something different.

Why all the LeBron hate? I don't watch the NBA so maybe I am missing why he is so dislikeable?

If it were Larry Bird or Bill Walton who said this about Josh, people would be donating to their charities and begging mods to pin the thread.

Heck, I started the thread thinking it would garner comments about one player at the top of his sport acknowledging another who is ascending to that spot in his own. How naive I was...

He doesn't actually come across as dislikeable, although the people in this thread who personally know him and who have voiced their opinions will have a better sense than me. I don't know the guy myself.
