Watching the game with a Pats*** fan Sunday...

...and wondering how much I’ll be able to control myself. He’s a good friend (despite his fandom) who admits he is now also a Bucs fan but definitely still pulls for the Pats***. He played football for BC back in the 80s so he gets it honestly. He gives me s-h-I-t about the Bills but it is all in fun, and he knows we have the better team this year.

It will be a good time because he has a great covered back porch with an outdoor kitchen so we’ll be (a) safely distanced and (b) have a lot of good food and drink. It won’t be a big crowd, just us and our wives.

I realize the potential to embarrass myself exists but I’m trying to be a mature fan.

I have a good friend at the Oregon Coast from Mass., we never watch Bills Pats games together. Made that mistake once.☺

Have fun and don't gloat when the Bills stomp them.

Well, if the Bills tank it, just try your best to remind yourself its one game.  However, if the Bills win, I would relentlessly bust his chops until he reconsiders being your friend.

Personally, I think it’s awesome, eball. It’s a reminder to us all that it’s just entertainment. Great to be passionate about it but shouldn’t rule our lives or friendships.

Good on ‘ya. It will be fun...and the Bills are the better team so let’s hope that the better team wins!

I don’t know any Patriot fans over here. Which is good.

When we were over for the game against them last year my son and I were sat next to a group of them at 716 sports bar down town. They were great with my son who was wearing his Bills cap. We had a good chat about the game and we all

wised each other the best. They were good guys.

Inside the stadium we had a family of them behind us and they spent the entire game looking at the phones.

After the game we were waiting for an Uber at the college and we witnessed one being obnoxiously aggressive towards Bills fans. It was mainly families around so people were on the whole ignoring him. My son whispered to me “if this had been at City (my soccer team) he’d have been filled in by now wouldn’t he Dad?”. I did chuckle.

Wait, hold it all back, until the game is over, and look at him and say Bills win, the division is Buffalo territory now, oh, and smile...

Go Bills!!!

This will either be sweet, sweet revenge, or another humiliation at the hands of the Cheats.  Since you're the away team, stay classy San Diego....
