Let’s Get it Buffalo by Diggs Himself

Recommended Posts

My son had sent this to me and it got me completely stoked. Lord I pray this season happens...this is when they should have rolled out the ‘It’s our time’ slogan.

Of course I will always accept ‘Championship Caliber’. ?

This is the kind of stuff you love to read:

I know there are questions about Allen's ability but I think the league respects him more than most of the media.

Football players and people who know football respect Allen as a major up and coming QB.  Media idiots who want to force their incorrect early biased on him not so much.

I think some receivers are definitely skeptical of him.  I think if the Bills had Aaron Rodgers, crazy AB would have came to Buffalo.

With Diggs in the picture, it's going to be really hard for teams to keep up!  Sure a team like KC has a better offense,

Last few years, yes, they had a better offense.  In 2020?  That's up to Josh Allen.  Bills have pieces to dominate offensively IF Allen takes the next step. Can't leave points on the field.  Hit those deep throws.  I truly hope that KC game, should the season be played, is on Sunday night.

Crazy AB saga was after Josh Allens rookie year, not after this past year.  Big difference from one year to the next with Josh and where he is at now.

I just think there are more NFL players who don’t believe in Allen that you think.  But great news is he has weapons to show he is the real deal.  No more excuses this year and hopefully, he balls out.

Please tell me that you aren’t basing this opinion on whether or not Brown chose to come here...

Not to harp, but upon what information is this based?

Not all.  But I don’t think receivers were lining up to come here without big money deals.  And to Allen’s credit he did a good job feeding Brown and Beasley.

Also even JOHN (not yelling, only capitalizing so everyone sees I'm talking John Brown not AB ? ) said he wasnt confident in signing with the season before last and that the QB position wasn't stable enough for him to want to sign. However in that timeline, was Allen on the Bills yet, or was just that they were going to draft a QB?

Ive never been a cousins fan but for all his faults is actually one of the better deep ball throwers in the league. This is on josh now to take another step this year. If he doesnt, diggs could get really frustrated. I think josh is going to take that step though, cant wait to see it

I like most of my cousins.

Diggs is going to love Buffalo and Buffalo is going to love him. God I hope there’s a season. Offense will be fun, defense will be great, Brady is gone. Nope not going to be a season. We are Bills fans we all know this is too good to be true. Such a Billsy thing to have happen, we’re  f**ked.

Before they drafted Allen.

This is a nonsensical argument though. Nobody knows one way or another that NFL players do or don't think of Josh Allen. Diggs has to say good things (I am not doubting his sincerity) he says good things about Kirk in that letter as well and allegedly in truth the two had their moments. Speculating on whether NFL receiver on mass do or don't like Josh is a completely pointless pass time and a totally unanswerable question.

He was most vocal/unhappy when the Vikes shifted to a run-first offense. All the WRs were unhappy, Diggs got most of the attention on it. They switched back to passing, and things got better. I also think Zimmer didnt know how to handle him. I like Zimmer, but he needed to be more Marvin Lewis-like. I think McD will do better with him since while McD is high-accountability, he isnt a hard ass or yeller. Little softer, more direct, more man-to-man approach.

Also, by many accounts, Cousins is a ginormous douche canoe.

Don't know if it's been asked or answered, but if a season is suspended, does that also suspend player contracts for that year? i.e. if a player has one year left on their contract, and this year is suspended, do they still have one year left or do they become a free agent?

that hasn’t been addressed yet by the league since they are operating under the assumption there will be a season this year.

I'm impressed. He seems to be able to write and articulate well. Hopefully John Brown becomes his new Adam Thielen. Heard those two were close and worked on techniques together to improve. One they they did together was work on raising their hands for the catch at the last possible moment so they wouldn't key the defender that the ball was close. Hopefully Diggs and Brown can teach each other some nice tricks.

I think Diggs if he plays his cards right and is sincere can get both local endorsement deals and help for any of his charities.

He unlike some other players seems to understand that it is not just what is done on the field is what is important but if you cannot produce on the field you will not be here long.

My belief is yes. Because of something about accrued years?

Loved this read.  Articulate, big heart and hungry.  I liked the mention of him and Allen being competetors.  When the game's on the line, the Bills down but within a score, we have hope because that's when Allen shines.  But we still fell short the biggest games.  If Diggs fights with the same passion, there may well be a revisit of the Cardiac Kids of the '90s.
