Who should we be rooting for in the Cleve @ Pitts game?

If the Steelers win, we don't have to worry about the Browns for the rest of this season. We'll still be at least 1 game ahead of the Steelers, with a game against them.

If the Browns win, We could still have to worry about Pittsburgh, and then we're almost certain to be worried about the Browns right up until when they play Baltimore (and Baltimore could be resting players by then).

Go Steelers.

It won't matter. I don't think either of these teams will get past 8 wins.  Steelers are about to lose out.  And Browns have Baltimore and at Arizona left.

It depends. They would need to win out to get to 10-6.  But if Buffalo stumbles and falls to 9-7 they would have the head to head.  I still think Buffalo finishes 10-6 or 11-5 and it won't matter.

Pitt, no question.

Doubt it though. Cleveland's clicking and Pitt is starting a new QB.

Can still see the Browns imploding though...

Rooting for:

Pitt

Cincy

Indy

Houston

TB (to a lesser extent)

Go Bills!!

If we lose to the Cowboys the 538 model says it doesn't matter who wins as we'll have a 75% playoff chance no matter who wins.  If they tie it goes up to 82%.  So, a tie would be ideal.

Just from a common sense perspective, I'd go with the Steelers because we play them and they have the inferior quarterback.

After Pittsburgh, they still have 2 against Cincy and 1 each against AZ and Baltimore, so 9 wins looks pretty solid if they win tomorrow.   Might be better to put a nail in their coffin this weekend.

They don't play tomorrow.  Baker will be busy cutting the lawn for the following weekend.

Is it just me, or could anyone else see Cleveland extend their win streak to 7 only to lose to an 0-15 Bengals team?

Pittsburgh. We will beat Pittsburgh in a few weeks. So we will have that head to head in our favor

If Pittsburgh wins this Sunday, then they are going to be even more harder to beat in a few weeks at Heinz field.    The Browns are really fighting for the 2nd WC spot.  The Bills should see more of the 7-4 and 6-5 teams getting knocked down.

Theoretically, they can finish 10-6, and except for playing the Ravens at home, I think their schedule contains winnable games -- @Pittsburgh, home and away with Cinci, @Arizona.  if they continue to play like they have the last three weeks, going 4-1 down the stretch and finishing 9-7 seems entirely possible.   Pittsburgh and Indy just seem to have too many injuries to overcome.  Tennessee, at 6-5 has a much harder road to get to 9 or 10 wins: @ Indy, @ Oakland, home and away against the Texans,  and New Orleans at home.   I think that the Raiders are pretenders plus they play @KC, @Chargers, @Broncos plus the Titans and Jags with maybe wins over the Jags looking like a "lock" right now, if there is such a thing.

This is a tough one. I think any outcome would be okay. Would lean just having Pittsburgh beat Cleveland this weekend and thus basically ending the Brown's season. Visually we could cross a team off the list.  But Cleveland is rolling right now and it wouldn't exactly be a great sign for the Steelers to step up under the new QB who I think is better than Rudolph. The team could find a spark and that defense they have is still good enough to cause us problems on the road.
