Bleed Bills Blue
Unfortunately, not many teams are built to overcome this level of game-fixing. The Bills certainly are not. Parity makes it all possible. A close game is one that can be decided with one well-timed call...or non-call. I apologize, this crap has finally turned me into a hardcore cynic. Oh, and Epstein didn't kill himself.

dubs
As long as the NFL is printing money, nothing will change. Big market teams and teams with prominent owners will get every advantage. The Pats being good literally created a new market for the NFL because prior to that most people in the Boston area didn’t even know they had an NFL team or what the NFL was. They thought it was a dish at legal seafoods, Nantucket Fried Lobster or something.

That 2nd tripping called robbed all fans - Cowboys fans, national fans, and even Patriots fans. That game was a long slog, and not very entertaining. But it had a chance to be - w/ the Cowboys in 4 down territory, it COULD have been an epic finish, with either Dak coming through w/ a game-winning TD, or the heralded NE defense stepping up for a dramatic 4th down stop. But no. The refs took the game into their own hands, and decided it - without drama, excitement or suspense. They just called it right there with 2 minutes to go, instead of letting players play, and decide it on the field. On a completely phantom call, as the NFL now acknowledges (kinda reminds me of the phantom holding in the SB last year, just when the Rams were starting a real drive). It's truly sickening. These things go the Pats way beyond what the law of averages could possibly allow. I want to know if the hack who made those phantom calls will be fined, suspended or fired...if not, then the league is a joke. It’s called accountability. 4 minutes ago, dneveu said: Probably because they thought they tripped them. How can you see something that clearly didn’t occur? Those are game-changing calls. Ridgewaycynic2013
Through no fault of their own (aside from committing / not committing the penalty), the New England Patriots are being besmirched in this thread. Gordio
I have said it for years, it is not so much they call more penalties on NE's opponents it when they call the penalties. BeastMaster
It's time to bring the NFL and it's corruption to light. Expose the league for not being about competition and the better team winning. If enough people pick up on it and it draws enough attention, the NFL would be forced to change or become irrelevant. Also another reason why I scoff at the Brady is GOAT and the Patriots are the greatest dynasty. I'll never accept those things with all the scandal and cheating involved. It's nearly certain that Belichick has noticed the Cowboys OL knack for moving their legs to trip the rushers. And who did Cowboys play the week before that would also tip Bill on the OL's tendencies. PS - Sure enough, watching Dallas OL against Detroit, there's at least one attempted trip in pass protection.
