Another Fan
So here's where I'm going with that question. I don't live in Buffalo/WNY so it's not all that common to find Bills fans/supporters by me. Every few months I might catch someone with the Bills decal on their car or someone wearing a shirt. At work last week I noticed someone wearing a Bills cap last week so I immediately went out of my way to ask if he was a fan. His first response was, "I know they are a bad team and it's embarrassing but yes". I went on to try to explain to him I was a fan myself to which he apologized. Had to go to a meeting so I couldn't shoot the breeze with him too long but just finished saying hopefully Josh puts the pieces together this year. I guess I could understand the sentiments to some extent. Being a Bills fan certainly hasn't exactly been easy 1

Rigotz
Why would you be ashamed to continue to support a team through all the tough times? If anything, it shows character to continue to support the Bills. 18
Pete
***** no! I rock Bills gear in New England almost daily! And if I ever see someone with Bills gear on, I always go and meet them.
teef
of course not. i even have my kids draped in bills gear. it's pathetic to think that anyone is actually embarrassed to wear bills gear, but i guarantee there are a few on this board who are.
Captain Murica
Nope, usually always have a Bills hat when I go to the gym. As well as when I go to Mets game usually rock a Mets shirt/jersey with a Bills hat.
golfball323
no, man. The team are the only ones allowed to be embarrassed. I'm perfectly happy with everything in my life and that includes rooting for a perennial loser to get better. If somebody has problem with that they have a bigger problem...

ProcessAccepted
Proud to wear Bills stuff. Always amazed by how many people comment on it. Buffalo is kinda like that Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game, seems like everyone has a tie to the WNY or the team.
LeviF
Hell no. I rarely wear team/sports gear out and about but when I do it's always Bills or Sabres.

Pete
One good thing about sucking for 20 years is that there are no front running Bills fans. If you see someone with Bills gear on, you know they are a real fan. You catch so much ***** wearing a Bills hat in some areas. Bring it on. I wear it proudly

BuffAlone
I've lived up and down the east coast. I wear my gear pretty much daily. Get alot of comments, and see more fellow fans than expected, but never embarrassed. Proud to be a true fan, and not a bandwagon fan. And when we finally win the big one, its gonna mean a lot more to those who have stayed true over the bad times
RyanC883
not at all. Actually, down here in PGH, there are a decent number of Bills fans. I always go out of my way to talk to someone wearing Bills gear. But don't worry, in a few years when we win back to back SB's, everyone will have it on. Enjoy the novelty while it lasts !
BritBill
Never! I run in a Bills t-shirts. Wear a cap and hat when out and about. I always wear a piece of Bills clothing when going to the games at Wembley each year.
Jauronimo
I always wear Bills gear when I'm traveling. Pretty sure I got "randomly" selected to go through the 6 levels of O'Hare security this past weekend because of my Bills hoodie. Either that or the vomit on my shoes set off the metal detector and bomb scan. 2
PaattMaann
Absolutely proud. Anytime I travel I be sure to rock my Bills hats/shirts, and always find fellow fans along the way.

CLTbills
Hell no. I live a long way from WNY, but there are lots of Bills fans around. I think the majority of people recognize that while we may not have had elite success (yet), the franchise is headed in the right direction and is not the laughingstock it once was.

bigK14094
I wear my Bills hat to play cards in Florida. Meet all sorts of WNY's when doing that, as they say hi. I also get called Buffalo Bill, which I will answer to in these circumstances.

TOboy
Definitely not. I live and work in the Toronto area. I regularly rock my Bills gear, and even have a Bills mini helmet proudly displayed in my office. I get razzed a bit, especially by obnoxious Pats fans, but the tide will eventually turn.
Stank_Nasty
I personally wear my stuff as a badge of honor. I live just south of Erie, pa in the tri-state area and us bills and Browns fans always have a mutual respect for one another while all hating the “Stiller’s”.... takes a true fan to still rock the gear after the last 2 decades for those teams.

oldmanfan
So I live just outside Indy now, and my 23 year old daughter was born and raised here. But I raised her as a Bills fan, and she is as rabid as anyone I grew up with. One of my proudest parent moments was when she was in elementary school and they would have Colts Spirit Day on the Fridays before games. She would proudly wear her Bills gear every Friday. And maybe tied with that was her one woman show in college (she's majored in music theater and is a performer now), when she altered the lyrics to Adeline's Lament from Guys and Dolls and made it into a tribute to Bills fans. Need to get her in with Bills marketing to sing the anthem at a home game... As for me, proudly wear my Bills varsity jacket all winter, and am rarely without something Bills related on my person. Don't get much hassle, and if I do I hold my head high.

Call_Of_Ktulu
Ive lived in Chicago my whole life and I wear Bills and Sabers almost every time go out. I get people who give me ***** at the bowling alley and at the mall but I don't give a crap. I always have people ask me if I moved here from Buffalo and I say no. 947
I'm in the suburbs of Chicago & I wear Bills stuff all the time, so does my 11 year old son. Nobody ever asks or says anything. I rarely see other people in Bills gear, maybe 1-2x/year. A few weeks ago, the owner of a local brewery/restaurant came over to our table because my son had a Bills hoodie on, turns out he's from Buffalo & a big fan, so we talked football for a bit. MiltonWaddams
Ridiculous. I have a Bills decal and license plate on my car, 4 Bills ball caps, 2 toques (yes, I am Canadian) 5 tshirts and a few jerseys. I wear as much Bills gear as anyone and I do it because I am proud to be a Bills fan. Being embarrassed would be a very sad thing to be as a fan.
