Wondering the thoughts obviously both are horrible, but where do you start on the O-line? What position on our O-line is the weakest? Do we go LT just cause it’s the we will have a very high pick and you don’t take center or RT that high? Or go WR?

I think we gotta fix the O-line which will somewhat make the receivers better giving them more time to get open.

Hard to grade Allen because both units are by far worst in the NFL,  i would release  Benjamin on Monday.  What was Beane thinking giving up our third for this loser and then only getting a second for Sammy.  Benhamin is a complete are wreck.  Plays small and is slow

Daboll finally started doing that in the 4th qtr but it was too late. Daboll's cleverness has yet to show itself. This was not an amazing GB defense.

Seriously, you started seeing hitches, outs... throwing in a couple rub routes and crossing patterns you may have something to get in a rhythm.

But to ask Allen and these WRs in addition to this Oline to block 4-5 seconds to allow these WRs to run 15 yard routes non stop is crazy....

It depends...will our O-line learn how to block delayed blitzes before the year ends?

There are a lot of RB choices in FA this year.

OL is going to be very hard to fix this offseason even with draft/FA$s

Sorry Reader I replied to your post by mistake.

WR. Pass protection could be better but it is really not that far below the league average. WR on the other hand is easily the worst group in the NFL. Slow, can't separate, can't catch, doesn't help Allen on blitzes. That is the biggest sore spot with this regime so far. I'm starting to think next year's 1st rounder should be a WR no matter what even if we're picking 1st overall.

I wouldn’t be opposed to signing the top RT in FA to pair with LT Dawkins and then drafting interior lineman Rounds 1-3.   Revamp the entire line with studs.

Let Shady go, draft a shifty RB in Rd 4 to go with Murphy & Ivory.

Sign 2 FA WR’s.  Let Benjamin and Clay go.  FA1, FA2, Zay, Foster, Ray Ray.  Croom, Thomas and Lee at TE.

Sign a DT and DE with money saved by letting Clay and Shady go.

Draft depth secondary/linebacker in rounds 5-7.

Quarterback . A franchise QB can overcome having a bad line/ poor wide receivers

For some reason that is not on the discussion menu around here.

Everyone wants to talk about anything and everything other than the most important player on the field.

Do we really need a CB high?  I’d take one for depth in Rd 5.

Hyde/Poyer at Safety. Neal as depth.

White/Johnson/Lewis/Gaines is looking to be a very good group.

I think our secondary is looking strong for the next few years.

Can't have too many CBs!

In all seriousness, Gaines and Lewis have been streaky. They may develop into good players or they may go the other way. Not looking for another CB would be a serious gamble, IMO.

Agreed.  I just wouldn’t prioritize it going into next year.  Our safeties are legit and White/Johnson both look like studs.

That being said, I’m not opposed to getting another  Taron Johnson in the 4th Round, that’s for sure.

O line requires two or three new pieces.

WR requires one or two new pieces.

A TE could help fill both needs, and I believe a TE upgrade is a good idea.

If I’m being asked which one piece I think is most important for this team, I would say a tackle or guard. Usually tackles are viewed as harder to get and more important, so I would go for a tackle.

Honestly, I could build a better football team than these jahbronies, and I'm an idiot. The time to draft oline was like, 4 years ago, but we were busy drafting trade bait.

Anyways, yeah

Oline

Oline

Oline

No you can't.

u build from the lines out.   great line,   lotsa time to throw for a young QB,  even scrub WRs can get open.    what Brady's been doin for years.   he only struggles when his line struggles.   this organization hasnt really built the lines since the super bowl years.    ya theyd bring in a free agent here or there,   waste a draft pick once in awhile, but usually just cobble together a buncha no names and hope for the best.   u cant win in this league with garbage offensive and defensive lines.  u can win with no name WRs.

You nailed it.  Not focusing on the back bone of the offense.  The line needs infusion of talent and not FA cast offs.

Both.

it really depends on who is the BAP at Oline or WR.

there are some pretty decent WRs in this draft so maybe OL.

I'm a big fan of LT Jonah Williams from Alabama.

Both. Add in a coordinator that understands how to use the the players to their strengths not sending wrs that run a 30min 40 deep on 3rd and 4

the OC can't polish a turd.

He can call plays to play to the strengths of the players he has. Not sending slow wrs deep every play when you have an offensive line that can't pass block.

Please explain why you think he's been calling good plays.

Buffalo also parted with Jordan Matthews, so the receiver group may be worse than last year's.  LOL https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2777814-ranking-every-nfl-receiving-corps-heading-into-the-2018-season#slide1

If you had to say which one and I had to stick to it I would say WR

I didnt get a chance to see much of the game until just now......whether it is true or not (the all 20 will tell us next week) Josh Allen didnt think guys were open a lot of the time today......those passes that you see going out of bounds?   I would bet my bottom dollar he WAS THROWING THE BALL AWAY.....so for those complaining that he is not doing that....he is

But there is no wr talent on this team....none....nothing that scares anybody.....the guy that that is supposed to be talented (KB) continues to not fight for, drop balls, and today got laid out with a helmet to helmet (uncalled) hit.......the rest of these guys just dont have either the experience or the talent to get open consistantly.....Pettine brought the house today and was getting immediate pressure...there was nobody breaking free to give him a target......and our running game is DEAD.....our OL literally cannot run the ball htf is a rookie qb supposed to consistantly do well when he has no threat of a running game backing him up?

So yes....its OL to.....but pass catchers first...jesus where is Larry Centers when you need him
