They are almost dead last every year. What you saw in the second half of the Minnesota game today is how Vigen caled games for Wyoming. And then one wonders why his stats were so bad at Wyoming. All it takes is a little research. I have been saying all along Allen is a winner. It may not always be pretty, but he will win more often than not. That makes a lot of sense Wyoming barely won their last game and I think a big part of it was finally letting their QB throw it when they didn't have another choice.

Came out wrong and edited, that list was were I had them before the draft. Right now it looks like Baker Allen Darnold Jackson and Rosen are null due to no playing time.

DuckyBoys
He played a great game. Still a bone headed play or two but its ok he will learn from it Physically he's stronger than I thought. Someone mentioned Cam Newton and watching the Vikings trying to handle him its not far off. Intangibles look great. I'm excited to see what he plays like in those muddy/snowy/windy games That size and run ability is going to carry games.

RobbRiddick
I love this kid. He not only throws it so fast and far that he once hit himself in the back of his head with one of his own passes, but he also has the ability to fly and leap tall LBs in a single bound. JoPar_v2
? Before someone burns all their “confused” emojis on this thread, I’ll just clarify: In my opinion, Allen looks awesome at this stage of his career. Way ahead of where I thought he’d be; I was a Baker guy before the draft. But I reserve terms like “superstar” for players like Brady, Rodgers, Brees. I suppose you could call someone like Wentz or Mahomes a “budding superstar.” Allen’s not there yet, but, in any case, I like the enthusiasm. Buffalo Boy
The game is clearly not to big for him. He has poise that is surprising for a second start rookie. Not sure if anyone saw the on field interview after the game. Handled it like a vet. I love that they gave him the dump off option and coached him to use it. It set up the TD to Croom which the defenders so egregiously bit on.

1st&ten
I was happy when we drafted him & even happier today. What till we get to the cold, wet, & windy games when other teams QB's can throw a decent pass & Josh is just zipping the ball through the elements. DefenseWins
When they review the tape of this game, they should sneak in the footage of Garrapolo's presumed ACL injury suffered today... We all love Allen's intensity and daring but he is too valuable to risk serious injury on a play like that... On the plus side we have already seen that Josh knows how to slide when appropriate... 1
Mark92
He showed today WHY the Bills fell in love with him and are rumoured to have had him on top of their draft board. billsfan89
Let's not get too crazy after one game. I loved the way Allen and the offense in general looked. They seemed to feed off his energy and play. But in the NFL fluky things happen. You can't get too high or too low based off of one game. I am not trying to down play this game. The Vikings have a great defense easily top 10 if not top 5 in the league and Allen played extraordinary against them. But once again this is just one week. Every year each team has 2 games where they come out flat and 2 games where they look like world beaters. I loved what I saw from Allen but there still is a long way to go.
Bring it
It’s still early, but Allen is looking more and more comfortable out there. VW82
Said this in the game thread but he had four turnovers this game that didn't result in actual turnovers due to sheer dumb luck: dropped INT in the 1st Q + three fumbles we recovered. NewEra
Our OL played stellar today. The Vikings really missed Everson Griffin. He’s a monster. Vikings bad penalties early really helped us set the tone Allen played like a season vet 95% of the time. Our WRs suck. Tremaine and Milano played lights outs im going to start wearing my Jerry Hughes jersey again instead of Tremaine .
