  1. They have the garbage plate of Ohio in Cincy chilly. It is something you have to try once!
  2. Pre-draft narratives are hard to kick, especially when there were zero statistics supporting Josh as a top tier guy. Fair or not, that will follow him for years. Tua will be "injury prone" for years, and Lamar will be a "RB pretending to be QB" for years. Josh is JUST starting to kick the "extremely erratic gunslinger" shtick, but plenty of people have their responses all queued up for when he has a bad game or two. There are fair critiques of every player, but there are no shortage of inflammatory and sensationalized takes out there. Elite play buries most of them, but some never quite go away (ex. Tom Brady is a system QB, Peyton Manning was a choke artist, etc)
  3. We're not talking about Metcalf vs Peterson, that's irrelevant. On this single play, Diggs ran right by Peterson. Peterson didn't touch him. With <30 seconds left, allowing a #1 receiver a free dash to the end zone is joke coverage. Of course, this all works out to our benefit. I'm glad we got it done. Josh probably was shocked to see Diggs running free like that.
  4. Josh should only read coverage, not the name on the jersey. Thankfully, the coverage was a joke, and he delivered an accurate ball. Peterson didn't even slap Diggs arm, he ran right by him!
  5. The "ceiling" is really tough to call out, I think he's establishing the floor right now. If it's 4000 total yards and 30+ TDs, life is good for years to come.
  6. Ya'll think that the Diggs TD was that insane of throw? Really? It was a 30 yard throw to the corner with plenty of cushion. Great throw, great catch, very clutch, but I didn't walk away thinking it was an "exclusive to Josh" throw. I know we're all drooling over the concept of a franchise QB, but the "OnLy He CaN do ThAt" takes are way overdone.
  7. Just we need, Lars Ulrich's ***** drumming on the big screen.
  8. Geezus, some of you dudes need your 97 Rock bubble burst.
  9. They've had a good roster for years, but there was a switch that flipped the day Lamar started. Since then, they've been an elite team. Playoff wins are next, but they've got many chapters to write with #8 leading the way. Crazy that he is younger than Burrow!
  10. ...round and round and ROUND we go. We're fully dug in now. The Ravens have a great roster, but point blank, he's the "straw that stirs the drink". As he goes, the Ravens go, and I don't think we've seen his ceiling yet. Plus, isn't some adversity a good thing? He's been sloppy since the Chiefs, but he continues to find ways to win. The Steelers beat him up all game, but he kept his team in it until the final play. I think playoff wins are on the horizon. Hell, Bills v Ravens for the AFC crown would be a GREAT game.

  12. This is all devils advocate posting. I wanted to provide an imaginary example that provided the appropriate value. 4 - 5 first rounders might be appropriate. If I you had a gun to my head and demanded "trade Josh", this is the type of deal I'd pursue.
  13. In a fantasy world, I don't see a GM moving more than 3 firsts for any player. Beyond that, it's about getting other star players in return. In the real world, no. I don't think there is any package a team could offer that would make me move Josh.
  14. Not sure there is any other QB + WR combo that would be appealing. Does Ciara sit in the stands to watch Russel Wilson and Metcalf? That might make me consider it. On my deal, my hypothetical response. We've seen Jamal Adams and Laremy Tunsel go for 2 first rounders, so I think the conversation doesn't even begin until you have 3 first rounders on the table. However, that isn't fair value for a young star QB, and no GM will give up 4 or 5 first rounders, so you need players. Sure, draft picks from the Jets or Jags would be good, but what players do they offer up that move the needle? Beuller....Bueller? You need some real blue chip guys to keep the conversation going. In this case, I picked Kamara and Peat because they are at lower value positions, but are both tremendous players. It be great to pick up a pass rusher or left tackle, but that's too risky for my taste.
  15. Diggs is a difference maker, and I'm really glad he's here, but there's no need to throw a cap on Jefferson's potential. Jeudy, Lamb and Jefferson all look like stars in the making. I get why they went after Diggs . COVID offseason meant minimal practice time, and they valued a proven commodity in a critical time in Josh's development. It has worked out so far
  16. Pure hypothetical, because that makes this more fun. The Bills and Saints have completed a trade: Saints receive: Josh Allen, QB Bills receive: 2021 1st round pick 2022 1st round pick 2022 3rd round pick 2024 1st round pick Alvin Kamara, RB Andrus Peat, G
  17. That be an interesting post to see. Gap discipline is critical against any option attack, and you'd want to make Mark Andrew's life miserable. If you wanted to spy Lamar's 4.3 speed, there are only a handful of guys in the league who might be able to handle him. Milano ankles certainly didn't keep up. Season low in yardage and points, this is where I see the Ravens as such a "high floor" team. Since he became the starter, they've got 30 games in a row with 20+ points. They may not be able to hang in a 40 point shootout with Mahomes, but who can? I'm sure they'll have an actual dud game eventually, but we're still waiting... Funny thread. Like you said, 6-2, only losing to the two best teams in the AFC. I think the "Lamar has been figured out" takes hold some water when he starts 16 games and they go 6-10. That article was kind of vague, more than anything , its a "foot in mouth" moment for Lamar. You need to keep that stuff in house.
  18. Run? Yeah, that's a tough one to call against the Ravens. It's clearly not working. #1 in the league in rushing yards (again).
  19. The Bills don't get to claim any blueprint - LJ threw 3 TDs and we lost. The "blueprint" for any great QB is the same - get pressure with 4, drop the rest into zone, and spy the QB if mobile. Easy in concept, extremely difficult to execute. I mentioned it a few pages ago, but I think the ceiling is still murky with Lamar. We saw some great flashes of it last year, but clearly, he can't run for 1200 a year. I don't know what his average season will look like long term, but it might be something between his 2019 and 2020 performance. Time will tell. WIn a Super Bowl... we'll see. It's hard as hell to do it. Some incredible QBs have only one ring. Do I think Lamar, until proven otherwise, gets you into January? Absolutely. Can he take you the distance? Maybe. I think he'll get at least one.
  20. It's a total "chicken or the egg" debate. I think he's the most important player on the team. Murray is really good...still wonder how a little guy like him holds up long term, but the ability is there.
