Visiting defenses get called for holding at a huge (statistical outlier) rate in Kansas City but the advantage almost goes away when on the road. Conversely, Kansas City's pass defense is much worse on the road. At least they call roughing the passer better: Allen - 7 Mahomes - 3 Although that's probably attributed to allen scrambling more often. https://www.nflpenalties.com/roughing-the-passer-by-qb.php?view=all Edited January 16 by TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th
FilthyBeast
Well here we are, the game that everyone seems to have wanted. But still think in this situation you have to go with the better QB, coach and defense and that's the Chiefs across the board which is why having home field this time likely won't matter. Praying I'm wrong for sure though. 1 6 3 1

There's a reason why the Bills are only 2 point favorites at home and suspect that line moves in KC's direction as the week plays out. They are 7-2 on the road this year and will have a massive chip on their shoulder heading into Buffalo to not only kill the 'never played a road playoff game' narrative and prove that their loss against the Bills last month was a fluke because of that Toney offside crap. They know they are also living rent free in the entire Bills organization heads after the last playoff meeting too. Since you basically trash the Bills and are negative and pessimistic anytime you can, not sure why you consider yourself a fan. Agree 100% with this, but the Chiefs and Mahomes are obviously a different animal then most of the teams we've played in recent weeks including beating them in KC which the entire Chiefs organization believes was a fluke because of a questionable call and will make sure they aren't in position for that to happen again. Also why should I be questioned as a fan because I believe the team that is 2-0 against the Bills in the playoffs, has the best QB in the NFL, been to 3 superbowls (won 2 including last year), etc isn't going to take care of business and do what they always do regardless of finally getting homefield in Buffalo? If the Chiefs had looked like trash and barely beat the Dolphins I'd probably have a much different feeling right now. But they didn't, and looked like a team ready to win another championship especially since the offense was clicking magically.

What they are failing to realize is that Allen would have had plenty of time to drive down the field and give them a dagger game sealing TD like he had 3 other times in the last 2 games there. Also, the Dolphins had zero chance in that game. They lost before even stepping off the plane. Edited January 16 by Big Turk

KC's run D is incredibly suspect. When they've allowed 118+ rushing yards they're 3-5. Not, 9-1. Their rushing D is average at best. Their offense is patently average this season.
