Einstein
Sometimes I forget how fortunate we are. It’s easy, over time, to become comfortable with something/someone being in your life or on your team. But my goodness, name another QB who could deal with the constant onslaught he saw today. Nonstop blitzes, most of which were never picked up by our own line. Constantly avoiding defenders and avoiding sacks. The list of QB’s not named Allen who could have done what he did today is very very short. And i’ve never ever seen his flip out like a gigantic crybaby like Mahomes did after the game. 20 21 2 6

I think if he has the horses he finds a way. 2 2

Roundybout
Perfect microcosm of Allen’s career: an impossible, physics-bending 22-yard completion to Murray, who drops it (yeah he did, come on), and then two major penalties that result in a punt on 4th and 38. 1 minute ago, CaptnCoke11 said: This was the first game of Brady’s short tenure as OC i thought he failed this offense in some key moments. He either needed to fake a screen and call a wheel route or quick hitter, or stop calling them altogether.

The run game was also completely abandoned until late in the 4th even though it was going good previously. He got too hung up on the empty backfield formation and played into Spagnoulo's hands

Not that it mattered, they were getting equally effective pressure on 3 man rushes. Josh had his hands full today. Very little time kept clean and his WRs couldn't get open against single man coverage. And there were like 4 drops mixed in there too.

Miyagi-Do Karate
So many insane plays today by Josh (throw to Harty, throw to Murray, TD run). but the craziest play was his last one. He had a free rusher right in his face and somehow dodged him and scrambled and threw that 2-yarder to kincaid. I have no idea how he wasn’t sacked there.

Brady also made the mistake of not giving the ball to Cook in the 2nd half. They should have continued to pound the ball even when they were offered one-on-one matchups because our WRs didn't get the quick separation. The replay showed he had an open receiver in front of a defender. Now, Josh never saw the intercepting player lurking to the side and that’s definitely on him. Mahomes , on the other hand tried to complete a pass through Epenesa , who was right in his face. The ball was predictably batted up by AJ, who also came down with the INT. You probably won’t hear much about that play, though.
