  1. I have to say that I really love Keon’s personality after watching the press conference.
  2. Are the callers any worse than some of the “talent” on WGR?
  3. I hope that this trade does not bite us in the arse like the Mahomes trade did. I am not so sure. Up until last night, I had a lot of confidence in Brandon Beane (not so much McD). I will reserve final judgment until after tonight. So far, it does not look good and I did not agree with his explanation. I think that they realized that the trade was not particularly well received by anyone (other than the Chiefs) and is one of the reasons why it took forever to have the press conference. Also, I seem to recall that in the past Beane said that GMs make an attempt to find out what the other team is going to do or at least make sure that they are not going to pick the guy we want. He seemed to go in a different direction last night on this subject.
  4. As a Miami Hurricane fan, I think this guy is very good.
  5. Now I know who some of the posters are on this site. 😀
  6. You sound like the sort that is unaware of how toxic Eichel and Diggs were. The proof of the pie is in the eating. If you have any doubt about it, just how toxic must a player be to trade a guy like Diggs for a future second round pick and take the cap hit that the team is taking. P.S. As for Reinhart, he had an expiring contract and was traded at the deadline. Different situation. I presume you already knew that. He also did not burn his bridges.
  7. I will not individually embarrass them, but several of the posts of the Diggs' sycophants who steadfastly defended his "cryptic" social media posts and actions certainly did not age well. How toxic must a player be for a team to trade him for a future second round pick and take such a cap hit. Some of us tried to warn people. Oh well, we move on . . . .
  8. Good for Tre. His agent must be outstanding because the $$$ are more than I expected given his injury and injury history. Perhaps some of the money is for his goaltending expertise.
  9. Thanks to McD's trade of the rights to draft Mahomes, being able to win has been a lot easier for Andy.
  10. I guess that would depend on just how good Marvin Harrison Jr. is and how the Bills evaluate him. As for the bad memories about what we gave up for Sammy, I agree and that would make me hesitate as well. For those of you who have seen Harrison play more than I have, is he a generational talent? If yes, a trade would be tempting. If not, keep our 2025 pick for next year.
  11. Regarding drafting Josh: I give most of the credit to Beane and Pegula (no secret that Terry was a primary promoter of Josh as well as Mahomes). Regarding developing Josh: I give very little credit to McD (especially when one looks at which side of the ball our first round picks have been). I give most of the credit for Josh's development to Josh and his offensive coordinators and QB coaches.
  12. This is true (perhaps this would be Andy's way of repaying McD for trading the right to pick Mahomes). McD would forever be known for that trade. Without Josh, I can only imagine how bad our record otherwise would be. McD (and we) are VERY LUCKY to have Josh.
  13. McD told everyone we are winning the Super Bowl. Didn't he say it is not a question of if but when?
  14. How many wins would we have had over the past few years without Josh???? We were very lucky that he was available and very lucky that he developed. I stand by what I said: if we did not have Josh, McD would be remembered as the guy who traded the opportunity to pick a generational QB (against the owner’s wishes) and would have been long gone by now.
  15. As I have said before, if we did not have the good fortune to draft Josh and Josh developing the way he did, McD would forever be know as the idiot that traded the opportunity to pick Mahomes who not only is a generational QB but also a thorn in our side every year. Also, without Josh, McD would have been fired long ago as well as being remembered for making this trade. McD and we should thank our lucky stars that we have Josh.
  16. According to PFF, Josh was the highest graded QB for the 2023 NFL Season: "Josh Allen stands atop the position: The Bills signal caller beat out 2023 league MVP Lamar Jackson as the highest-graded quarterback in the NFL." "1. JOSH ALLEN, BUFFALO BILLS: 92.1 While Allen may have missed out on the league MVP, he captured the top spot on this list after orchestrating the highest-graded season of his career. The signal-caller showed elite dual-threat ability, finishing as the only quarterback to surpass an 88.0-plus grade as both a passer (88.5) and runner (91.4)." https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-highest-graded-quarterbacks-2023-nfl-season?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=february_21_2024 We are very fortunate to have Josh as our QB. He is perfect for Buffalo.
  17. The question is: Will Diggs make peace with that? Bonus question: Will his brother?
  18. I guess I am dating myself. 😀 I figured that you probably were not aware of the movie. I was not suggesting that you should have been. If you have some extra time, you may want to check it out. It is an odd and interesting movie. You also may want to check out other Peter Sellers' movies. Go Bills!
  19. Shoot. You beat me to it. "There will be growth in the Spring" Brilliant movie with the brilliant Peter Sellers. I am guessing that you may not be old enough to remember the movie "Being There" with Peter Sellers that came out in 1979. I presume that the poster was referring to the Chauncey Gardner character in that movie. The photo is from that movie.
  20. In my judgment, Wilks got thrown under the bus. Sounds a bit familiar. Hmm. Perhaps Kyle should have been familiar with the "Josh Allen" overtime rules and also not overruled Wilks when he called that time out.
  21. It is amazing how some people know how to say the right words and how easy it is to do so. It is not hard and takes less time than coming up with cryptic responses:
  22. This does not even approach the number of "fire Dorsey" threads that people created on this site over the the past year or two. It is funny how touchy the McD apologists can be.
  23. There are so many, but given that no one has chosen this one, I will go with Cream's Born under a Bad Sign (originally an Albert King song), which I always have thought aptly describes what it is like to be a Buffalo fan: "Born Under A Bad Sign" Born under a bad sign. I've been down since I began to crawl. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all. Bad luck and trouble's my only friend, I've been down ever since I was ten. Born under a bad sign. I've been down since I began to crawl. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all. You know, wine and women is all I crave. A big bad woman's gonna carry me to my grave. Born under a bad sign. I've been down since I began to crawl. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all. Bad luck and trouble's been my only friend, I've been down ever since I was ten. Born under a bad sign. I've been down since I began to crawl. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck. If it wasn't for real bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all. Born under a bad sign. Born under a bad sign.
