  1. I don’t think he is. I love Josh. That was not my point. We are very lucky to have Josh after missing out on Mahomes.
  2. Oh, brother. You missed the point. It is a shame that our owner knew better than our coach, and now we are repeatedly beaten in the playoffs by that same generational QB. P.S. Beane had not been hired yet. P.P.S. Was there anyone picked in the draft after the pick that we traded that was better than Mahomes? Is Mahomes arguably the best QB in the NFL. P.P.P.S. It is a good thing Pegula also loved Josh and was a driving force behind picking him. A good thing for us and a good thing for McD in particular who would not have lasted this long without Josh.
  3. As I said, believe what you want. That is your prerogative.
  4. How many times have you heard someone say he is leaving to spend more time with his family when we know that is not the truth. Believe what you want. Again, that is your prerogative.
  5. I find it funny how people post he “sucks” etc. I have disagreed with Dunne in the past, but just because he writes something that might hurt McD’s feelings doesn’t mean Dunne sucks. The guy has some insight and some behind the scenes sources. One of the most interesting things he has written is that Terrry really wanted Mahomes but did not want to meddle with McD who wanted to trade that pick so that he could draft a defensive back rather than a generational QB. The good news is that we are very lucky to have Josh Allen. Josh’s ability covers up a lot of deficiencies on the team and (in my mind) is the reason why McD is still the Bills head coach. Without Josh, there is no way we would have done nearly as well as we have the past few years. Another tidbit: I have it on very good authority that Terry loved Josh and was a driving force in our picking him. I can only imagine how toxic this board and Bills fans would be if we had traded the rights to pick one of the best QBs in the history of the NFL (and who beats us in the playoffs to rub it in), if we did not have Josh. Thankfully, McD did not insist on picking another defensive back instead of Josh.
  6. I just got home and have not watched either press conference. Did McD actually say anything really substantive and interesting? He usually is a master of saying a lot of words without saying anything.
  7. You mean the guy who has been interviewing for another position?
  8. Even I think you are smarter than that. Clearly, they have conversations all the time. They are very close. If you really think that Trevon Diggs does not know what Stefon thinks, I cannot help you? If you really think that Trevon would post something that he thought would upset Stefon, I also cannot help you. You also will recall that when S. Diggs was asked about this in a press conference, he was very careful how he responded. If my recollection is correct (and I invite you to correct me if I am wrong), Stefon never responded that he disagree with what Trevon posted. He merely tried to claim that he does not control his brother. Just my two cents.
  9. Interesting take. Blind but interesting take. As for you accusation that I am biased against Diggs: I actually really liked the guys until he started acting like a diva last off season and especially when his brother started with his BS. Again, if you don't think his brother had full authority to say what he said, that is your prerogative.
  10. If you don't think that his brother had his full support when he was running his mouth, that is your prerogative.
  11. Your post actually made me very sad. Being a Bills and Sabres fan is part of my DNA. My father was a founding season ticket holder of both teams, and we would go to the games as a family. I have lived in Miami for several years, but as I say, you can take the boy out of Buffalo, but you cannot take the Buffalo out of the boy. Fast forward. I have two sons. One is 15 and the other is 21. Growing up, neither one was much of a sports fan. Of course, neither the Bills nor the Sabres was particularly good for most of their younger years. They would check with me on how the Bills, Sabres, or Arsenal (my other “football” team) are doing during the course of a game on television. They did enjoy going to Sabres games live in Buffalo (we would usually sit in a suite because of a connection I have so that was part of it). As time wore on, they became marginally more interested. Yesterday, my 15 year old wanted to spend the night with me rather than with his mother because . . . he wanted to watch the Bills game with me. That was the first time that ever has happened. You do not know how happy that made me. I wanted the Bills to win yesterday’s game for a variety of reasons but most of all so that my son would experience the excitement of a Bills playoff victory and with me. It was that aspect of the loss that was most depressing for me. In any event, I can appreciate how you feel. My best advice is to love your son unconditionally but also to lead by example and let him see how passionate you are about the Bills without forcing him. I think your son may come around, but even if he doesn’t, life goes on . . . and there also is the silver lining of not having your week ruined by a Bills loss. Be well my friend. All the best to you, your son, and your family.
  12. For better or for worse, we probably are better off keeping him (and his contract) and hoping that he returns to form given the salary cap implications of letting him go. The same thing with Diggs . . . provided he and his brother don’t try to be distractions.
  13. There is a benefit to McD of going back to Carolina . . . He would not have to trade for or claim any Panthers anymore because his new team would be full of them.
  14. Thanks for posting. That explains that. Not Josh’s fault.
  15. I agree. We also missed Stefon Diggs.
  16. Diggs is a shadow of himself. He has been playing like a middling WR since about week 10. Unless he is hurt and that is the reason why he has been so poor, we are stuck with a horrible contract.
  17. Belichick has shown he can beat McCoach with a poor QB and lesser roster. If they switched places in those games, Belichick would have beaten McCoach with our QB and roster and handily. I get it. Let’s ignore the fact that we are not even in the playoffs or in the game without Josh. Interesting take.
  18. Except that we would not even be in the playoffs or that game without Josh Allen. Take away anyone else from McCoach to Diggs to Von to anyone else. Without Josh, this team and the coaches are middling.
  19. I presume we are stuck with McD but I wouldn’t have any problem if the Bills hired someone else. The players clearly are not inspired by his 9/11 speeches anymore . . . .
  20. There is a coach out there that knows how to win superbowls with a great QB and is a defensive genius . . . . The same guy probably would like to stick it to his old team as well. Just saying . . . .
  21. Diggs is the most overpaid player on the team together with Von.
  22. Josh makes everyone around him look better than they actually are . . . Including our head coach.
