  1. Merry Christmas and all the best to each of you and your families in 2024!!!
  2. I have to go pick up my kids. I do not have time to look now, but my recollection is that the primary problem we had was turnovers as well as the attempt to change Josh's style of play. We will just agree to disagree on Dorsey. I do appreciate the civil discourse with you on this subject.
  3. Cover 1 was leading the charge against Dorsey. That does not surprise me. I am not going to so easily dismiss Warner's evaluation just because of Cover 1. Whatever one thinks about Dorsey, he was the OC of the second best offense in the league last year (and outperformed prior years). I don't think he suddenly forgot how to be an OC from last year to this year. As for changing the way Josh plays, the main person who has been vocal (or at least was vocal about it) has the initials Sean McDermott. Having said all of that, I do believe that Joe B has done a very good job. I just don't buy into the anti Dorsey narrative here, on WGR, or Cover 1.
  4. Second best offense and scoring offense last year 2022 Buffalo Bills Offense Additional objective Metrics for 2023 Not exactly metrics that support firing the OC. Millano was a big loss no question. You are correct about that. [I actually was at that game in London. One of the main things that sticks out is who was the idiot who decided not to leave for London earlier in the week . . . hmmm]. Tre has not been Tre in a few years. As for offensive and defensive resources, in the seven years since McD has been with the Bills, five of our seven first round picks have gone to the defense. We have devoted substantial resources to the defense in free agency as well. Floyd for example - who has played very well. On the other hand, I keep on reading about people complaining that the team has not made a number 2 WR a priority. Merry Christmas.
  5. This reminded me of the report (not sure it is true) that Caleb Williams (or his Dad) wants any team that drafts him to give him an ownership interest. In other words, this is completely self-defeating unless he were to walk that back.
  6. Some Perspective Bengals Playoff Game Interestingly, the PFF grades for the Bengals playoff game had the offense playing better than the defense: Offense grade: 65.1 Defense grade: 60.5 This Season Also interesting, in the five losses this season when Dorsey was OC, the offense graded better than the defense in all but one. In that one game, the offense and defense had identical grades. Of course, everyone presumably knows about all of the game losing drives that the defense has given up this year and that we would be firmly in the playoffs but for our defense not playing (as one might say) "complementary football." Also, in case you were wondering, the offense had better grades than the defense in each of our wins when Dorsey was the OC. It is a shame our defensive coordinator cannot get his defense to play "complementary" football. Go Bills!!! Having said all of that, Go Bills and Go Joe B!!!
  7. FWIW - I have been to his BBQ place down here in Miami. It is excellent and has received very good reviews.
  8. Even McD confirmed the 9/11 speech. Has anyone denied that McD took over the play calling during the infamous 13 seconds game? Has anyone disputed the story regarding Chad Hall? Of course not. Prior to the article, some people here thought that Diggs was unhappy that Chad Hall left and was not promoted. Now we know why he left and nobody has denied what was written in the article about McD and Hall. Another quote was that McD would make Dorsey the fall guy. That is exactly what happened. All I have seen is some players have defended McD generally by saying he has a good character. I am not aware of anyone disputing specifics facts that were set forth in the article. Perhaps I did not see specific factual rebuttals. If I am mistaken about this, please link specific factual rebuttals by any of the ex-Bills players (or current players).
  9. Nevertheless, we should not jump to conclusions. It seems like people who did not like McKenzie were quick to paint him as a bad guy. P.S. I also do not consider it a "hit piece" to the extent it was truthful. Just my two cents.
  10. Thanks for answering my question by not answering my question. We would be sitting pretty for the playoffs BUT FOR our defense not playing "complementary" football and engineering multiple game losing drives. Of course, you already know that. "Kenny" was the OC of the second best offense in the league last year and the biggest difference after he was thrown under the bus is that Joe Brady has not fumbled or thrown interceptions that have hurt us. Buffalo Bills - Second Best Offense in NFL in 2022 The objective metrics for Dorsey this year also were not ones that supported firing him . . . unless, of course, one has an agenda. As for Rex, he was given less than two years with a GM who (in my opinion) threw him under the bus to save himself and who ended up facing his own karma. I remember people here making fun of Rex when we had 12 men on the field. Yet, McClappy outdid him with an unprecedented 15 men on the field (I had never seen that before) and let us not forget the most recent 12 men on the field that lost us the game. 15 Men on the Field We also had the most or second most injured team in the NFL in his last year as I recall. If you truly care (and I presume you do not because you like to take shots), you can review all of my posts on the subject back then. Rex also did not have the good fortune of players like Andy Dalton and K. Toney . . . oh, wait . . . . As for your questioning my support of the team, I will just respond by saying: God bless. I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and 2024.
  11. What would our record be if the defense had not given up any game losing drives? It is too bad our defensive coordinator did not have the defense playing "complementary" football. Hmmm.
  12. I love the sarcasm. As someone who believes in the importance of controlling the line of scrimmage and being able to run the ball, I agree with your point. Nevertheless, if you think that McClappy did not approve of offensive game plans before yesterday or before Joe Brady for that matter, we disagree. Hmmm Bills v. Dolphins Wild Card Game
  13. It is interesting that there were rumors that Diggs supposedly did not want Dorsey (and favored Chad Hall). We now know why Chad Hall left (nothing to do with Dorsey). As for Diggs, I did not believe that he wanted Dorsey gone, but if he did, it is an example of be careful for what you wish for:
  14. How many of those did Gabe drop?
  15. If I understand you correctly, I agree. As an aside, one of our most pressing issues is pass protection. Josh hardly ever seemed comfortable in the pocket . . . and for good reason.
  16. You spelled hypocrisy wrong. If I were Gabe's Mom, I would have not posted anything. Having said that, I am giving her a break given that what she posted was mild and (unless I missed it) it was her only social media post defending her son. The Diggs situation (Stef and Trevon) is actually a much worse situation compared to mama Davis (in my opinion). They both involve family members giving their two cents publicly and it is not as if Trevon's posts are ancient history.
  17. Good for you. I presume your kid is playing professional sports and is facing criticism on social media so that the analogy is complete. Did you teach your siblings the same thing? As for the mom, I generally agree with you. Nevertheless, her response was VERY mild. Compare her post with Trevon Diggs and what he has had to say.
  18. That is a big loss. I hope the guy recovers 100%. The key to defending against the Dolphins is pressuring Tua. This is a big loss for the Dolphins.
