The Dolphins just scored out of the shotgun at the goal line. I guess Mike McDaniel did not get the memo from the keyboard jockeys on Two Bills Drive or WGR 550.
-
I will let Josh Allen respond to the keyboard jockeys who are pushing the ridiculous anti-Dorsey narrative: "Allen, however, left no doubt about where he stands with his offensive coordinator, saying he trusts him implicitly. 'All of it is,' the quarterback said when asked if any of the criticism of Dorsey is misguided. 'Nobody knows what’s going on in between walls here. Nobody knows the reads that we have in the quarterback room. Nobody knows the blocking schemes that we’re putting in the offensive line room. Again, it comes down to us executing and making sure that I’m on task and making sure that I’m trying to guide this offense in the right way. Making sure I’m making good decisions. It starts with me, so that’s No. 1.'” Inside the Bills: Why team's offensive captains take issue with recent criticism of Ken Dorsey

I linked the article and summarized the stats. I get it. You don't like Dorsey. Nothing is going to convince you otherwise. In the meantime, my opinion will continue to be guided by reality. God bless. P.S. I am done arguing with you today. This exercise has reminded me why I stopped being as active on this site a few years ago. Life is way too short. You can respond any way you want and have the last word. Frankly, I just don't care.

IF Allen Tried to Force His Way Out of Buffalo...
Peter replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen ≠ Eichel Thankfully!!! -
I did not realize that it increasing your scoring chances is a "dumb play." That is a ground breaking take. The stats clearly show that operating out of the shotgun at the goal line is a legitimate option and one that is used. As far as I am concerned, I have no problem whether the Bills do one or the other at the goal line. Both are legitimate options. To pretend that one is a "dumb play" reveals your bias against Dorsey. Nevertheless, I suspect that you are not going to let reality interfere with your anti Dorsey narrative.
-
You want to push your anti Dorsey narrative so badly that you are willing to blindly ignore that the TD percentage at the goal line out of the shotgun is more than otherwise. I get it. You don't like Dorsey and you will not let facts get in the way. God bless.

In retrospect, was letting McKenzie go a mistake?
Peter replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes -
In my humble judgment, both players were handsy . . . including the Giant receiver Waller who clearly was trying to get separation.

Why NFL Coaches Use Shotgun at Goal Line For those of you who are incredulous that an NFL offensive coordinator might use shotgun at the goal line: TD rates PLAY SNAPS TD% Shotgun QB rush 62 71.0% Under center QB rush 215 68.4% Shotgun RB rush 328 56.7% Under center RB rush 1640 54.6%

What Did You Do that Caused the Bills to Lose?
Peter replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
It must have been our fault. As it turns out, our dinner was the best part of the Bills game. I hope all is well back home in Sweden. -
Zack Moss quietly having a very nice season so far

I am old enough to remember how certain posters here were about him. -
Even though I am not a McCoach fan, I do not think he is on the hot seat . . . or should be at this point.

When will this European games madness stop?!
Peter replied to RichardLee's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fans hate it??? There were thousands of Bills fans in London who would disagree with you. Money? Yes, of course. The more money the NFL makes around the world is good for the Bills and their financial security and makes it less of a problem that we are a small market team. Jet lag? Blame whoever made the decision to fly over so late in the week. Anyone who actually travels to Europe could tell the Bills' "braintrust" that this was a juge mistake. -
Roger Goodell said today's game was an experiment??
Peter replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have been fortunate to travel to Europe several times. I always have found it very difficult traveling east to Europe. The jet lag really effects me. Traveling back to the US is not a problem. I was shocked how late in the week the Bills traveled to London. That was a head scratcher. I wonder whose bright idea that was. -
Thank you for organizing everything. It was a great dinner, and I really enjoyed meeting everyone. P.S. Fortunately, the Arsenal game was better than the Bills game.

Go Bills!!! COYG!!!
-
I suspect world class athletes can handle traveling to play in London if they can travel to the play teams in California and Seattle.

I went last time and am going to London this time. I hope the international games continue. For those of us that go, they are a lot of fun. Also, there clearly is a reason . . . to grow the game internationally (read $$$).

Thank you for coordinating this BritBill. I look forward to meeting you and everyone else. Who else is joining us?

As much as I loved Takeo as a player, he should be embarrassed about how he handled this. Not only was it a compete distortion, but (as the article said and someone I know advised me early in the week), he was offered an opportunity to move if he did not like where he was. The whole thing is pretty sh**ty the way he handled it and he has been found out.

It appears that I stumbled into a great situation. As I have mentioned in prior posts, I go to London now and again to see Arsenal play. In the past, I have stayed at a hotel in Paddington (because that is where the Heathrow Express goes). When I was making plans, I initially checked out the hotel that I typically stay at. For whatever reason, their rates are now ridiculous. Accordingly, I looked to see what hotels partnered with the American Express Platinum card. A friend turned me on to this approach. You can get great deals (or at least better deals). I ended up booking in an area of London that I have never been to . . . Shoreditch. From what I have learned from BritBill and others, Shoreditch is a fun area to stay. I was worried about how to get to my hotel (the Mondrian) from Heathrow in any event but especially because of the strike. It turns out, the Elizabeth Line goes to the Liverpool Street Station which is not too far from my hotel. In fact, it is walking distance. Thanks to BritBill and GunnerBill (and others) for all of your helpful advice. Go Bills!!! Go Gunners!!!

For those in the know, I have some questions regarding the "contactless" way of traveling. How does it work? Do I just tap in and out with an accepted credit card or do I do something else? I tried to set up an account but the site automatically did not allow me to proceed. Does that mean that non-UK residents cannot set up an account? I have Oyster cards from prior trips. Should I just use those? Do they work on the Elizabeth line? Based on the great advice of posters above, I plan on taking the Elizabeth line from Heathrow to the Liverpool Street Station on October 6. Thank you in advance for all of your input!

Hypothetically… Brian Daboll gets the boot….
Peter replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am amazed at how some still continue to blame Dorsey for everything from inflation to the war in the Ukraine. In the past, I have posted links comparing the Bills offense in 2022 under Dorsey v. 2021 under Daboll. To those who take every opportunity to whinge about Dorsey, you can look it up yourselves. -
Yes, I am interested in joining you guys. For some reason, my office blocked the link but it appears that this place is near my hotel in Shoreditch. Also, my friend who was supposed to meet me in London is probably not going to be able to go because of something that just got scheduled on that Friday. I will be going to the Bills game, but will have to leave early because the Arsenal game got rescheduled from Saturday to Sunday afternoon. Transportation questions for anyone in the know: Apparently, I am arriving on the day of the tube strike. Normally, I would take the Heathrow Express and connect with the tube . . . unless, of course, I were staying in Paddington, in which case, I would walk to my hotel. This trip, I am staying in Shoreditch. Given the planned tube strike, any advice on how best to get from Heathrow to Shoreditch? Also, is the Elizabeth line considered to be a tube line and subject to the strike? I look forward to meeting my fellow Bills fans . . . especially if they are Gooners like me. COYG!!!
