Because nobody seems to have mentioned it: The benching of Pro Bowl and Comeback Player of the Year Doug Flutie, after he gave us 10 wins, led us to the playoffs, thrilled fans, and galvanized an entire team. In my book, the guy is a hero, and what Ralph did was shameful. And embarrassing.

Fans hate it. Players hate it. Coaches hate it. But the NFL makes money out of it. So there, take that fans, players, and coaches. Put that in your pipe and smoke it while we fill our pockets with money. It is plainly obvious that jetlag is a major issue to the game, and that it even puts players' wellness at risk. When will this madness stop? Never if we don't do anything about it.

If Allen can learn a little bit, he has the potential to be a monster. He’s already got a monster mental, is a leader, and he has the arm... imagine if the guy can learn from his mistakes and is coachable... the sky is the limit.
