New York is uh... a little different. Football is the number 2 sport and the giants are one of the most successful franchises in the league. They have won 4 superbowls since 1986. Going after working class people in NY is such a brain dead move, that crap works where he is from because of the mentality of places like florida, alabama, Texas Georgia etc... Calling fans fair weather and telling them you are better than they are is amazingly stupid. You would think the franchises in the northeast would explain this kind of thing to them. Had this guy not been born to be 6'7 340 pounds its highly unlikely he wouldnt even be in a position to buy a ticket to an NFL game. I think the switch was more due to the talent available to add being at LT, and tougher to convince a FA to sign and make a switch to RT than to just move the guy already on your roster and under contract, then any major downfall of Williams.
