What?! Nooo!!

THE best ever. I listened to him starting in the early eighties. I will miss him. RIP Rick..you will not be forgotten.

Ted Darling  Van Miller, Rick Jennerette.  There something brewing up there.  And Sabres look to be setup for a bright future.

We never got him a cup. I hope he watches down when we do

If he was a goalie, he’d have gotten a cup.

God bless! His family and close friends are dealing with some tough stuff.

Not to mention John Murphy's stroke last season. Sabres and the Bills are due once and for all!!!

RIP Rick. All my thoughts and prayers go out to Cookie and their kids. Godspeed!!

RJ, the only play by play guy that could yell "HE SCOOOOORES" while his voice changed octaves 4 different times.  He was truly one of a kind.

Rob Ray must be crushed. They spent a ton of time on the road together. Always busting each other's balls. Such a sad day.

I remember being a kid who was supposed to be asleep in bed and instead hiding under the covers with a little handheld AM radio listening to him call games. :worthy:

100% this. He's literally the first person I think of when I think about the '99 Cup run.

Game 1 OT "JASON WOOLEY, SHOT HEARD ROUND THE WORLD!!!"

I was a very young Buffalo sports fan by then, but that run radicalized my sports Fandom. Not a sad day for me, celebration of the biggest Buffalo sports voice of my childhood!!! (Lil too young for Van Miller)
