That’s a class act from him.  Makes up for the “it snows in Alabama” dumb butt comment he made last week.

He’s actually pleasantly surprised

me this year that we may have a real competitor in our division.

I'm sure the "It snows in Alabama" comment as was tired of getting the same question about snow or playing in the snow etc. I think Tua is a good kid, my issue is though the media making him out to an all world talent, he does have good accuracy and at times a quick decision maker similar to Drew Brees yet he isn't great with his legs and not sure has the strength or power to go downfield.

I live in alabama and watched him throughout college etc. I actually think he has the talent, though after the hip thing I'm not sure he got all of his power back.

I think he lacks discipline to his training, he's all in on Sundays. Mon-Sat I'm not so sure. He's a big family guy, and I'm not sure he's willing to let that suffer to be a better QB, which isn't necessarily a negative from a moral standpoint. From a NFL franchise standpoint it might be of course.

I've spent a lot of time in Hawai'i and I really respect the people and culture.  I like Tua a lot. I hope some day he is our BACK UP QB. I don't like Alabama and I hate the Dolphins so there your go.  HA!

I think Tua is a really good dude.  My only complaint relates to those who want to anoint him a star simply because of his college career.  He's a very good QB but I don't think he is "elite" with a "normal" cast of offensive talent around him.  Having Hill and Waddle has been the best thing that could have ever happened for him.

Tua's a good kid and showed he's still among the league's elite QB's despite losing a massive game in bad weather conditions.

I want no part of him and the Dolphins again in the playoffs this year and you get the feeling that may end up helping this team in a roundabout way going into a place like KC or CIN and winning.

Context is important. I believe his comment was in response to someone asking him if he's ever seen snow or played in snow or something like that. Don't think he was trying to compare it to what we get in Buffalo. But people ran with it.

He seems like a good dude.

As others pointed out the dude is paid to be a sportsball guy not a speaker. Put a mic in front of most of us and we would end up in a spot like that too.

The coach on the other hand sounded like a clown before have

Bills fans have probably donated more to other team player charities than those teams own fans have donated since the Cincy game that got us into the playoffs and broke the drought. Probably by a long shot.

Boyd, Dalton, Lamar, Tua...is there anyone I am forgetting?

Obviously plenty of Bill player charities as well during that time...

No, they're mostly over the moon about what a class act he is compared to Josh Allen who told Miami fans to go home.

Maybe Josh is salty that Fish fans didn’t donate to an organization for sexual abuse survivors after he was sexually assaulted in Miami?

After a tough loss and having snowballs thrown at them - that was very classy.  And very mature.  I thought the kid played great too.  If you'd have asked me at the beginning of the season if the kid would be a starter in the league in 2023, I would have laughed at you.    I think it's neck-and-neck between him and Geno for most improved this year.

Nothing wrong with having family a priority over football even if it's your current job.  After they kept him in the Bills game after his concussion, I hope he may think seriously about finding a different team that doesn't ignore concussions.  Bad enough he had that serious hip injury that will no doubt impact his life in his older years, he will possibly develop some brain disorders as well.

He is very likeable as a person and I admit I do require opposing NFL players to be good people to even consider liking them.

As such if Miami still treats player safety with such disregard,  I hope he decides to force a trade to a team that does prioritize player safety.   Yes this includes their stadium not providing sufficient shade in dangerously high temperatures to the opposing team players to get an edge.

I bet Andrew Luck doesn't regret opting to cash in to enjoy his life with his family as best he can without the constant battering he took.

He kind of reminds me of an Alex Smith type tbh. High draft pick, solid enough player, but never going to carry a team.

He's certainly very accurate within 10 yards of the LOS.

Then when you have the fastest football player in the game today (Hill) along with the speedster Waddle - the YAC machines start chugging.

"You, suh, are treading on some dangerous ground!!  How dare you insult the 'Harvard of the South'?!"

Actually, Tulane University in New Orleans bills itself as the Harvard of the South.  Maybe that's just aspirational...

I watch the interviews and I'm forced to see these players as people. He conducts himself like a pro. He could have been a troublemaker given his treatment by Miami, but he's not taken the bait. Good on him.

Now never do I wish him success against the Bills.

I don’t think he is a great QB but he seems to be a genuinely good guy.

I agree, he's not great, just good. He'll always need really good talent around him for the team to succeed. That'll be ok for Miami while he's on his rookie contact, but once he gets paid it'll be a whole lot tougher. He'll never be able to carry a team like Allen & Mahomes can.

I love Diggs over anyone on Miami, but could you imagine what Allen's numbers would be if he had Hill, Waddle & Mostert? Damn he would win multiple MVPs & Super Bowls imo.
