They aren’t going anywhere with him unbuckled. just buckle your belt obj……. The crew didn’t overreact. They were doing their jobs. At one point I wanted him on the Bills due to lack of other options. I don’t want the guy anymore. He made the entire plane get off the plane because he wouldn’t buckle his seat belt. Talk about entitlement. This is where I am at. Even if someone wants to give OBJ the benefit of the doubt that the airline didn't handle it the best way (which that is even debatable), it's how he handled himself after that is unacceptable and inexcusable. I never thought he would end up in Buffalo, but I was fine with it if he did because I did not worry about him being a locker room distraction. Teammates in LA and CLE have all spoken up for him on being a good locker room guy, so for me, it was a non-issue. Then as the season got further along, I started hoping he would come here every time I saw McKenzie not come through, at least until news started coming he was still pretty far away from being ready. BUTTTTT: And it's a BIG but...It is not just how you carry yourself when you are around people you see as your peers in that locker room, it's how you handle yourself outside it too. And seeing that video and how he carried himself and acted towards the other passengers, and then reading Dawkins letter to the fans today...the one thing that is 10000000% obvious is that OBJ does not DESERVE to be in that locker room or part of the Bills family. He is not worthy of calling these men his peers because they dwarf him in every measure of a man and being a good human. I have changed my opinion from being "Don't think it would happen, but fine with it if it does" to now "Definitely will never happen, and no way in hell I want him on this team". 53 minutes ago, Gugny said: Overzealous stewardesses ... especially the male stewardess. Pull out his nail clippers from his carry on and go on a killing spree? Makes no sense to me. Sounds like the cop had the authority to make the FA's de-plane everyone and called their bluff thinking they'd just let it be rather than do that. Captain Caveman
It seems pretty likely that the crew overreacted in asking him to be taken off the plane, he also could have handled it better - he'd have a lot more sympathy if he had just gotten off the plane and then put the airline on blast for how they treated him.

That applies to all kinds of public "paying customer" situations then though.........stores, bars and restaurants, stadiums. Like I said, I think the cop thought he would call the flight attendant's bluff and the passengers got the shaft. I get making him get off the plane but he's not on a terrorist watch list.......just have the cops drag him off if need be.

I’ve been in HUNDREDS of flights in my life and never got close to turbulence that bad. Again….1%. However I watched the video after I posted that and OBJ was dead wrong for making everyone get off the plane. Being under the influence of whatever is no excuse…he was aware of what was happening and made a conscious decision. Smh.

It's like dealing with Cops. Just F'in cooperate. Deal with any legal grievances, later. Well yeah but elevation wasn't an issue at that point. The police should have just escorted him off as requested.........problem solved. He catches another flight later and that's that. No big deal for OBJ.........I was in NYC past couple days and his Uber Eats ads were prominent........none of the parties comes out looking sensible for this little disagreement but having ultimately de-boarded without incident certainly doesn't HURT OBJ's profile one bit. mikemac2001
I think you can have blame on both sides. Flight attendants seemed like they enjoyed the drama they were acting like he was completely out of it which he wasn’t - OBJ should have just put his seatbelt on but I understand if you’re sleeping and someone wakes you up. Once they asked him to leave he should have but he wanted to cause a scene at that point bc he felt it was not necessary to be removed. SCBills
I would absolutely sign him to WR2 this off-season. Much rather a FA signing in OBJ than a trade for Hopkins. The next option is likely Jakobi Meyers, a clear WR2/3 to pair with Davis opposite Diggs. I have a feeling Beane won’t go into the Draft still needing to fill that WR role. We saw what happened last year with Chiefs jumping us for McDuffie then us trading up for Elam. I doubt he wants to be picking late RD1 having to hope we don’t have another bad luck WR run before we draft in RD1 or 2.

Adding another very good WR2 is their biggest single "need" and I agree that waiting for it in the draft isn't a smart idea. If OBJ is right then he'd be a very good option. And I was never a huge fan of Michael Thomas because I like WR's who get open and he basically had the greatest contested catch WR season ever when he put up 149 grabs...........but with the NFL now allowing mugging in the secondary his skillset becomes more important...........he'd be a very good strategic add WHEN he is released and IF he will take a reasonable 1 year prove it deal. Then you draft a receiver to hopefully replace Davis in 2024 with some upside as a potential WR1 or WR2.
T master
I think if the Bills truly want to upgrade at the WR position they should at the very least bring him in for a work out then offer him a decent salary with a bunch of incentives in the contract so that if he does come in & stink up the joint he will get paid accordingly & would be more motivated to perform . Wouldn't surprise me if Beane doesn't address WR2 at all the way they were talking about Davis. Starting at 24:33 in this presser. It's going to piss me off if they don't address it, but it's really not going to surprise me if they think they're fine there.

Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Khalil Shakir, and Isaiah McKenzie are the only WR's under contract. Considering McKenzie was healthy scratched down the stretch, he may or may not even be here. So they're going to have to address the position heavily regardless. Whether that means they'll be looking to get someone as a #2 above Gabe or not.
