CNYfan
I think he helps people feel at home, find houses, stay out of trouble, etc. To me this is a sign that Matt Barkely won't be re-signed. apparently Mrs. Barkely handled this position the past few years. Sounds like his job is to maybe help a little with free agents, but also do a bit of schmoozing with FA, agents, and current players. Thats just a guess though. I don’t know WTF this role is.
