They asked the canadian Government for a $30 mil loan so they could play this year and the Canadian Government refused to give it to them so their only choice was to not have a 2020 season and come back next year (Hopefully) Although Ryan Reynolds is a big Canadian who just sold his Gin company for about 20x's the amount they needed, maybe he could fund the season? $30 mil isn't a huge loan for a typical celebrity group to come up with...... 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
