John Gianelli
I'm hoping this doesn't happen, but I felt an uncomfortable shiver this morning with a premonition that Aaron Rodgers might end up in New England. Then I saw that Reggie Bush was thinking the same thing. https://clutchpoints.com/patriots-news-reggie-bush-predicts-aaron-rodgers-ends-up-in-new-england/ In 2018, Tom Brady said that if Rodgers were in the New England offense, he'd throw for 7,000 yards. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/tom-brady-apparently-thinks-aaron-rodgers-would-smash-nfl-records-playing-for-the-patriots/ Of course, he would need a receiver or two. Rochesterfan
Not the least bit worried because of a little thing called the salary cap. The Pats can’t afford Rodgers right now unless they cut or trade about 5-6 guys that weaken the team.

I don't think GB wants to get rid of Rogers this year though. Depending on Loves development, maybe next year or 2022 they might move him..... Rigotz
1. They don’t have the salary cap space to do this. 2. This is not how the Packers want to groom their successor. 3. It would screw over the Packers for this year. 4. The Patriots would have trade at least two first rounders to get him and I doubt the Packers would accept their 2021 and 2022 picks. That never happens.

Marvlevydraftdaygenius
That would be great. I would love it when they call a play and Rodgers would say "No I am not running that" and change the play in the huddle and the play would go for a pick 6 those would be the funniest times in football I tell you. Just Joshin'
What is the Packers dead cap hit? Does NE have cap space? Not happenning. This is the case of a media person thinking "What can I say to get attention"? I guess it worked.
Mister Defense
13 minutes ago, Shooter McGavin said: “Uncomfortable shiver” oh brother! Yup, so strange how some people on here fear these players, rather than think that this clearly up and coming Bills team can, and would want to, handle them. Do most people here really not want the Bills to face great competition and win that way? Bring on Rodgers, love to see the Bills defense against him a few times a year, though very unlikely. An uncomfortable shiver! Yikes.

Sammy Watkins' Rib
This all boils down to how pissed Rodgers is. Pack still want him. But does Rodgers demand a trade? Probably not for this year. As poor of a move this was by the Pack, got to remember they still played in the NFC championship game last year. So it's not like Rodgers is on a terrible team that is going nowhere. He would have to go to a team that is ready to win now that also needs a QB. How many of those are there now that the draft is over?

Ennjay
So . . . people (starting with Reggie Bush) think the Packers plan to take the next two or three years off while they groom Love? They're that intimidated by the juggernauts in Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit? With Rodgers the Packers are maybe the division favorite. Without him they're Cincinnati. dpberr
I don't think there's a lot there to the Packers drafting this QB. Teams today need quality backups and insurance policies in case players decide to just retire. Green Bay's achilles heel is that when Rodgers gets hurt and is out, the backup quarterback play is so terrible its no longer a guaranteed playoff team.
