YoloinOhio
Not seen often. I know Belichick has a lot of power but is he GM in title? Pete Carroll? I don’t think he is either.
Rc2catch
Oh my.. Their fans must be irate. Not sure I’ve seen a more hated coach from a fan base not only keep his job but be promoted. He gets them to the playoffs but ugh he’s very underwhelming to me

GunnerBill
I actually think while he paid a high price for the trades his personnel moves in the main worked out. Rebuilding that defense without high picks is a challenge though.

The Frankish Reich
Yeah, joke’s on them, winning a playoff game, drafting a Pro Bowl QB and WR who roasted our shutdown CB and all that. (Actually, I do think this was an ill advised move, but c’mon folks, a lot is forgiven if you regularly make the playoffs and get the right guy at QB)

BillsVet
Everyone who tries to be Belichick inevitably fails. O'Brien went all in on those trades at the beginning of the season and it had better pay off. Then again, if he can convince the owner all is well, he's got it made.
C.Biscuit97
He just got himself fired. I actually think he’s not a bad head coach but he has way too much power. It’s too hard of a job for one person. 14 minutes ago, GunnerBill said: I actually think while he paid a high price for the trades his personnel moves in the main worked out. No! Because the only mistake that keeps on giving is the one you refuse to cut your losses on. In retrospect that "trade" of Osweiler to Cleveland was brilliant. Look, here's the point I'm trying to make on O'Brien: - made the playoffs in 4 out of 6 years - won a game in the playoffs in a couple of those years If McDermott's Bills make the playoffs in the next 2 seasons and actually win a game in each, we'll be applauding his contract extension. stuvian
I guess getting to the 2nd round bought him a little more time and clout. Who gets credit for the Deshaun Watson pick? The only good coach and GM was Jimmy Johnson.
