Reed83HOF
Cody played horribly at RT today. I posted this in a few threads, but this near INT from Allen was the result of Ford getting smoked (just one example). Allen should have checked down to Knox on this throw, but Ford needs to improve. This is why Nyscke was in at the end Edited September 22, 2019 by Reed83HOF

Maine-iac
If I remember right Ford never projected as a Tackle in the NFL anyways. Everyone thought he'd play guard. That said Mills was always good for a couple of turnstyle like plays a game so Ford (being a rookie) still has plenty of time and room to be better. 4BillsintheBurgh
I saw Ty get trucked, he just missed (mental error) blocking a guy, not to mention what I didn't see. I don't pay for the all 22 and I didn't see the beginning of the game so I can't say much, but I didn't see Ford on the field in the second half, mainly Ty Edited September 8, 2019 by 4BillsintheBurgh
Freddie's Dead
I'd give Ford a break. If Josh had looked to his left, he had an RB in the flat (the #40 has to be wrong, that's Byron Marshall) for a possible 1st down.
DuckyBoys
Ford should inside at guard for now and possibly for good O line wasn't that great today but the Jets D line is their strength and Greggy was bringing extras much of the day

Call_Of_Ktulu
Have Ford watch film of Packers LT David Bakhtiari. Bakhtiari gets out of his stance so fast and gets into perfect position. Ford definitely needs to get quicker out of his stance or he will be abused at RT. Good news is once Ford locks on its game over for the DE.

Pretty much - no need to get worked up after one week. See about moving Ford inside some with Nsekhe at RT. Rotate him with Feliciano/Spain and see where he can make an impact. Its Fords first ACTUAL reps - let him get his feet under him. I wouldn’t desert his play time at RT but I just think his skillset lies on the interior. We have Bates et al. as a backup utility.

Doc
I'm not surprised the OL struggled. Morse missed all of pre-season, I think Nsekhe missed most of it as well so he couldn't compete at RT, and all the shuffling that occurred as a result.
