Gugny
I'm sure I'm not the only one who asked the television, "where the hell did he hurt his head?" The phantom injury play is likely the last play for McCoy as a Bill. I don't think he's got quit in him, so I'm more inclined to believe that the Bills are just protecting their future 3rd or 4th round pick. One thing's for damn sure, though .... the whole "McCoy is in concussion protocol," thing is a bunch of crap. 1 2
bmur66
I thought he hit his head pretty hard after looking at the replay several times. Looked legit to me. Edited October 25, 2018 by bmur66 14

H2o
Yeah, Shady going out of the game was legit. If anything they would have hoped he had a good game in a loss if that was the case to help drive up his value possibly.
PIZ
I admit. That did run through my head. McCoy did appear to hit his head, but I immediately thought this was a ruse. I also am a very cynical person though.
atlbillsfan1975
He hit his head, he went face first into the turf and his helmet hit right above his face mask. Besides concussion wouldn’t be the injury to fake. And that was a game against a bad D you would of wanted McCoy to play good in. The Pats D is also giving up yards as well, so having him out there to showcase he has enough left makes more sense.

boater
He went into the Blue Tent after the play. Once a player enters the Blue Tent, the process is outside the control of the team. The independent Doc says concussion or no concussion, the team has no input, and the team must go with the call. If the team wants to shelve a player, there are other easier ways to do so. Heavy Kevi
I'll give a D for effort, but this OP troll job just isn't believable. Shady landed directly on his head and everyone saw it, he was subsequently treated by an independent Doc who then made the call that he cannot play.
