Small hands. It’s been an issue and probably will continue to be an issue

Certainly on 'date night'!

Imagine the threads if the Bill's drafted Darnold and this was the results of his first practice.

We are going to have dozens of threads about Allen’s footwork. Based on clips where you can’t even see his feet.

”based on the angle of his knee bend you can tell the spacing of his steps is 1/4 inch off when he steps up to the Gatorade jug”

You don't think that the size of your hand has an impact on your ability to grip and hold a standard sized ball? Have you taken a physics class?

I was at the pro football HOF last weekend and there is a whole section dedicated to legendary QBs and Hand size. It was so interesting. They had their imprints on the football. Jim Kelly was one of them. It’s certainly a factor.,

unless they have midget hands...no...lots of little qbs out there w no increase in fumbles....'physics ' has nothing to do with it--at least w that one simple single variable.in fact i would think smaller guys(who in general have smaller hands) probbly take care of the ball better

cant make this up lol

Are we reduced to this?  Really?

You know when you're a fan of a crappy team when you celebrate a competitor's fumbled snap in practice.

Sweet Jesus.

We know he sucks because he fumbled a few snaps?

no anger issues...just wanna see some suplexes and tombstones on opposing qbs.

I cannot argue against that honestly.
I keep seeing Brady and Bruno Sammartino in a ring in my mind.

3 fumbles = awesome ????

3 fumbles = awesome

nope

3 fumbles = something to laugh over

Darnold was voted most likely to succeed.

I would have been happy to get him honestly.

even though I hate him for picking the Jets over us.

Can we trade QBs straight up!?

you are really suffering over this draft of Allen aren't you ?
I thought after the fumbles you might join our team ? The Ones who accept and are cheering J Allen.

Totally normal for a new QB and C working together.

just because you and your friends like to hike the football for fun and such does not make you an expert about normal relations between This QB and This particualr Center who muffed the snaps perhaps.

hand size has nothing to do with it.Coordination does.

its actually attention to detail and patience.

not to discount flexibility nor coordination.
Valid take though.

John Elway lined up behind the guard to take a snap during a game in his rookie season. Why is this funny?

That was funny too :)

Tyrod did that a year ago too.

One fumble?   Yeah I think someone is overreacting a bit.

This is a non story imo

Anything to tear down a division rival who drafted a top rated qb prospect! Go get him NYC Media!!

This might not be a popular take, but I would actually be alright with Darnold turning out well and the Jets becoming a good team. This of course relies on us being able to continually beat them and be better than them. I never hated the jets that much with the exception of the Ryan era.

Well it was an issue with him in college.  The Jets will do what they can to fix it.  But hes in our division so fumble away Darnold.

He fumbled the snap a lot in college? Or he just fumbled it normally? Big difference.

If Allen did/does that the sky will be falling.  It is the first practice and not a big deal no matter what.  Intertested to see how much buzz Allen gets.  Its going to bs very difficult for the Bills coaches to keep Allen off the field.  After Mccarron and Allen start throwing beside each other everyone there will be seeing a massive difference.
