I sort of expect more Lawson on early downs and AJE in pass situations. As well as he's been playing he's still a liability in the run game and the Jags can run the ball. Guess having a 300 pound DT slam their knee down on your foot does some damage. I think we are fotunate he didn’t break a metatarsal and be out for 8 weeks. Rest him up. Maybe throw in a few Von snaps but hopefully AJE/Kingsley can step up a bit. I think you attack Lawrence the same way as Tua - pressure up the middle, get him off his spot, DE’s play contain to keep him from running. Epenesa has looked good out there, and as long as we have Jones/Oliver wrecking interior OL’s with Floyd on the other side, I still feel good about this group. Hopefully Von is able to be given the green light to rotate in on passing downs, and then we can probably let Rousseau rest for as long as needed to get back to full strength. Jax is going to want to slow this game down and dirty it up in the running game I imagine so losing a guy on that rotation on the d line stinks. I’d expect Lawson to get some major reps this week as Etienne is a guy that can take it to the house the minute he breaks contain.
