I think this is going to get ugly at some point (either flood gate opens at the start and simmers once it's too late to do anything...or we hang for a while and the dam breaks in the 2nd half). thewookie1 Posted September 29, 2023 Share Posted September 29, 2023 Buffalo - 42 Miami - 21 Bills offense is near perfect against a weak Dolphins defense and the Bills defense get a couple takeaways A pick by Bernard again in the 1st Quarter and a fumble recovery on a strip sack by Floyd. Miami’s offense gets yards but doesn’t have much success with Hill. He chalks up his 5th AFC Offensive Player of the Week Award against the Fins. Fins without Phillips is much bigger loss for them than Poyer is for us, IMO. While I think the Bills are the better team, the dolphins offense is just firing on all cylinders right now. Buffalo doesn't seem to have it all together on offense yet. Miami 34 Buffalo 24. Mister Defense Posted October 1, 2023 Share Posted October 1, 2023 Leading up to the game last week so much of the talk nationally was about that ferocious Washington defensive line, that the Bills would face a real test after not facing one against the Raiders. Never happened; Allen hit once the entire game. I think the focus on the Great Washington Defense added fuel to the Bills' defense. This week, it's been all about the Miami offense. And It is a high level offense, showing significant signs of being a special, great one, as they started to show last year. But the Bills defense rises to the occasion again today, and Dorsey continues to diversify the offense and use of personnel, getting the ball to Sheffield, the backs, and running the ball more with Murray and/or Harris, continuing to develop the more physical diverse offense that we have been seeing.
