Unfortunately I won’t be surprised if he’s out for the year.  Gut feel. Hope it’s wrong.

If they weren't so conservative with injuries I'd share this sentiment.  I think he'll be back for the Bengals game.

The gloom and doom on this board is so off-putting. I don't know if the Bills will win tonight or in any of the next five games. I believe they have the clear capability to do so.

But I do know that wallowing in misery--because I've done it myself at times--is not a good way to live.

Von obviously was willing to give it a go but the Bills shut him down. This team's refusal to let guys not named Josh Allen go out there and play through injury baffles me. If they are "saving him for the playoffs," they are really misguided. If the Bills lose these next three games they won't make the playoffs. The Bills only have one easy(ish) game left on the schedule. I don't know why this is the news that has finally pushed me into the doom and gloom mood but it has. It feels like, yet again, this is not going to be the Bills year.

You did not listen to Von when he said had to wait a few days and once swelling goes down can get a better picture.  Von kinda exaggerated about Jets game. He's an optimist....

Deep down I know you’re right. It’s just that we’re in a division race with little breathing room now and almost in a must win game tonight

I feel the pressure too brother. Our boys will pull through, and the bulk of this seasons highlight reel hasn't been made yet

Yea, if we're 10-4 in a few weeks it's a wrap for this season.

For a team that's 0-2 in the division it could be. If that 1 loss is to the Fins kiss the division goodbye, & it'll be tight getting that wild card spot. If it's to NE or the Jets then we'll loose to the Fins too & 2 losses, we'll need help getting a spot. The AFC & AFC East are so tight this year, not a lot of room for error. These next 3 are crucial bc they're division.

Rousseau and Ed Oliver need to step up and dominate consistently in Von's absence.

If that happens it will be the best news all year. Their confidence should be up as they have had success this with with Von mentoring them.

Hopefully Von still travels with the team for sideline support.

This reeks of McDermott wanting to play a doctor on tv again .  True medical professionals and experts in this particular field say no major damage though after season surgical procedure is recommended. Von wasn’t even wearing a walking boot post game. But Mother Hen Sean is truly attempting to sabotage the season with being  ridiculous overly cautious. Has there been a ‘medical decision’ he’s made that hasn’t hurt the team by unnecessary player removal? 3 starters out last week that nearly and probably should have torpedoed a win. ALL we’re back for the 1st full practice after the game. What does this say for where the blame lies?

I agree. People are gonna over react, but I bet our pass rush is still solid

Our pass rush hasn't been great as of late even with Von.  Frazier is having to blitz more to get good pressure lately, which I'm glad he realizes since letting meh QBs pick our weak secondary apart has become beyond frustrating.

Umm, yeah, probably because Rousseau has been out along with Epenesa?  Mike Love was playing in Detroit, for crying out loud!

Our pass rush struggles have been going on for many more games than just since those 2 were injured.  And Espensa?  Really?
