Miami weather thread

Weather.com is saying right now 40% chance of rain...scattered thunder storms.

Normally I hate bad weather but I do think this highly favors us.  Miami can only throw (maybe) and rain slows down Hill, plus Tua is small.  He is erratic a lot in good conditions, make that ball wet....he's going to look like Nathan Peterman.

September games in Florida should be in the 4:00 window...just sayin'

Belichick has stated that Miami has the greatest home field advantage of any team due to the heat and humidity.  Those early September games stress teams.  But I think it’s foolish to think the Dolphins also are not impacted by it.  Seems like the Bills get an early game there regularly.  So far, they have managed it.

I don’t like risk of thunder because it can cause delays.

Agreed. No delays please! Didn’t we miss Diggs first TD as a Bill against Miami because weather knocked out the feed? Someone in Bills PR created that silly sketch to “show us” what happened. Between that sketch, the dots, and grainy cell phone footage from someone in the stands, that’s all we got of that play.

Why is weather such a concern with everyone

FFS it was hotter in Cali

when did NFL fans turn so kitty?

No clue. People tend to forget that a lot of these guys live and do their off season conditioning in places like florida, Georgia, Louisiana, etc. They grew up and live in that heat half the year.

I remember Tua playing in the rain against the Titans last year and looked dreadful. I agree those weather conditions favor us more. Miami has 2 good backs but not near a good enough O line

Temperature wise it's very similar to the Rams game so if the Dolphin fans are expected an advantage you are reaching....

I live in Atlanta, and that day was absurd heat out in LA.

No sun beating down inside Sofi, but it was still hot/humid in that stadium.

I own a townhouse that I’m renting out about 2 miles from the Avalon.

I just bought a house in the North Alpharetta/Milton area where I live now.

I am closer to Cumming than I am to downtown Alpharetta now.

All nice areas... the South Forsyth part of Cumming is gorgeous.

How is Buckhead?  I very rarely go down there now but it was the hangout spot when I used to go out.  Heard the crime is rising in some areas.

Yea, Buckhead is trying to separate from the city of Atlanta, but being about 80% of the tax dollars for the city.. highly unlikely they allow that to happen.

I'm not married to the area, it's just convenient for me right now, but it's like any other major city nowadays..  I'm in a pretty nice building, high rent with 24 hour security and concierge... still got an email a few weeks back from management that there was a domestic dispute resulting in a gunshot fired.  I don't even think about going to Lenox Mall/Phipps Plaza.  I'll likely move out to the burbs of Atlanta in the next few years.

Most of our team is either from Miami, live currently in Miami or Arizona or train in Miami or Arizona. Heat will not be more of an issue for the Bills than the Dolphins.

The coaching and training staff have always been well prepared for it with this group.

I live about 1.5 hours north of that stadium.

Every day for about a week now we have had T-storms hitting at anywhere from 11am to 2pm, but then they usually clear up at a certain point in time.

Highs are slowly dropping from peak and are now in upper 80s.

There's an excellent chance the game will see rain, T-storms, or the threat of that.

It will be muggy as all get out and hot.
