Some folks here aren't a fan but I've always loved Lynch & glad he was able to get a ring.

Absolutely LOVED Lynch and was sorry to see him go.  I think he's been great for the NFL and love that he's still getting endorsements in retirement.

Lynch is an NFL legend who played for the Bills, but he's not a Bills legend.  Thus, although I like what Lynch has "matured" into, I don't see him being the right guy for this kind of honor.  In Seattle, yes, in Buffalo no.  That said, I'm most interested in what goes in during the 60 minutes of the game and don't expend too much mental energy on fluff stuff like this.  The coaches and players can focus on the Colts and the marketing department can focus on Marshawn Lynch.

He is a legend.  He didn't draft Spiller and trade himself for a bag of bagels.  Bills Mafia started/ coined Beastmode.  He will be called that the remainder of his life.  I hope he gets a big welcome.  Its where it all started.

Actually, Lynch himself came up with Beastmode

The strangest part of this is Lynch hated his time in Buffalo.  Surprised he even agreed to do it.

Yeah I agree. He’s much more a Seahawk than a Bill and will retire with Seattle if he hasn’t already.

In an aggressive way or playful way? I’m for the former

It can be as playful as Bills fans want it to be.

If there were a lot of Skittles scattered on the ground, and Lynch were to slip and fall on his ass, I would find it all in good humor.

Meh. I’d hardly call him a Bill, nor a legend here. He wanted out of Buffalo.

his legend status came while playing for the Seahawks. Fred was a better RB than him in Buffalo.

I agree with all of this - especially the part about Fred being better.

And I didn't appreciate Lynch's antics off the field or his hole move-to-Toronto thing.

But I did greatly appreciate how hard he ran.

Wasn't it Willis McGahee who advocated for the Toronto move?

I don't think he hated it.  What he hated was working for a coach & GM who didn't want him around, drafted another RB in the 1st round and took away his playing time.  If I was treated as poorly as Lynch was by Nix & Gailey, I'd hate my time under them too.

Lock for the Hall of FAME. More worthy IMO than Tomlinson.

I was surprised as well, I thought he would never want to come back but then again nearly a 100% new regime.

Meh, I'm sure at the very least he appreciated the bills drafting him, even if he hated it here. I think alot of players probably hated it here in those years. Can't blame them really. People grow up and mature. I think it's cool he's coming back

Probably any player not named Jon Corto or Namaan Rossevelt hated going to the Bills, I certainly would have.

Lynch is a competitor and has a ton of heart. I agree his challenge in Buffalo was the group he was surrounded by - the place was a disaster.
