YoloinOhio
Baker Mayfield said yesterday that it would be a “game time” decision and that he would make the call himself. Guess not. They are also missing Chubb and Hunt.

BuffaloRebound
For the gamblers out there, I’m curious how the point spread changed after this announcement. Would love to know what player’s absence in NFL would result in biggest swing in point spread.

jkeerie
Keenum did fine in Minn. with a strong supporting cast. Browns will still be competitive even with all the injuries. Having said that, Go Broncos!
H2o
Keenum is the sacrificial lamb. Both of their OT's are out and Baker is already dealing with the shoulder injury. Von Miller is gonna eat on Thursday night.
Miyagi-Do Karate
Keenum has to be a top-5 backup. I think he will manage and do as well as Baker would do. But if the browns can’t run, they are done regardless of who the QB is.

FilthyBeast
I'm not a betting person but would pound the Broncos this week especially going against the Browns without Chubb, Mayfield, etc. I think they are missing half their defense too. I'm in a league where the entire draft was autodraft, and I ended up with Jaylon Hurts, who I don't think is any good. That said, he's been excellent in fantasy. 54 minutes ago, Miyagi-Do Karate said: i was thinking of doing the same. Between Winston and Keenum, and I am on the fence. Paup 1995MVP
The Broncos aren't dominating anyone w Teddy Bridgewater at QB. They were smoked by the Raiders at home last Sunday. Its a sucker bet taking the Broncos. Browns at home w that crowd on Thursday nite. Keenum can play. Its the NFL. Home team in a nite game. The Browns will show up. This isn't Alabama going into Mississippi State.

I just don’t trust the giants I watched much of the Browns 2020 training camp video coverage (they showed team portions but only between the tackles) because a local kid was trying to earn a roster spot again, TE Stephen Carlson. I thought Keenum looked better than Baker in most practices but he had been with Stefanski before when they were with the Vikings. I thought he used the TE group well and that helped Carlson show enough make the 53. I suspect he'll get the ball out quicker than Baker tends to do. Hunt is out, they put him on IR this week. D'Ernest Johnson starts, with John Kelly, who was great in the preseason, as the backup, and Demetric Felton as a 3rd down/receiver. Johnson has played pretty well when given the chance, he just get next to no carries with Chubb and Hunt in normally.
mannc
This will be an interesting test of the "running backs are a dime-a-dozen" and "running backs are fungible" theories. Chubb and Hunt are the best 1-2 duo in the league. We'll see what kind of dropoff occurs.

Even Cook, when he went down and is arguably a top 3 RB, Mattison started for him and only had 180 total yds week 3. Yeh my sentence structure sucked there. Still drinking coffee. 2 minutes ago, prissythecat said: Or could be that Johnson is a pretty good back as well. Maybe better than what we have in our lineup I think certain teams like the Vikings or Browns, who have a system in place to run the ball, can put almost anyone back there and run it for about 100 any given sunday.
